Finally, someone who shows how to do the regular wiring! Heavenly Father, bless this man! I’ve seen so many videos of wiring solar panels to batteries but have been having a hard time finding a good tutorial for where the power meets the appliance. Thank you!!

I've been watching RV videos for a few yrs now and have often wondered about wiring to one of these batteries. Seems REALLY simple now that you've shown how its done, I almost feel pretty silly for not grasping it in the 1st place. A big thank you for this video! keep em coming!

Very detailed video, great job! FYI, the 10A cigarette port may be inadequate to handle the entire load of a van. Bluetti, EcoFlow, and Goal Zero have models with high output (30A) DC ports that use a more secure connection (Anderson or Aviation).

Hello! Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I have a Bluetti AC500 system with two batteries that I bought to use in my skoolie build. We currently use it in winter to run our pellet stove during power outages in our house, but I want to be able to move the system to the bus when I go on the road. I have been thinking of wiring the bus without the ‘brains’ of the power system as a permanent part of the build but I only had a vague sense of what to do. This video is LITERALLY the missing link I needed. I really enjoy the creative thinking you bring to your videos. Thank you again, this is just what I needed!

You really need to add rubber circular grommets in your roof cable holes to protect from chafing and electrical shorts/fires.. Like other vehicles, these should be added anytime you pass live wires through sheet metal or bulkheads. they can be added to current installation by making one cut and spiraling them into place.

Thank you so much this is exactly what I wanted to see. Every video I've seen about electrical has involved hooking up batteries to chargers and inverters and all that stuff, and I'm perfectly happy with my little box that has all that stuff in one unit like your Anker. But I didn't have much info on how to connect it up to outlets and appliances around the van and this will be helpful

I wish these companies would start upping the DC output to 20a or so on these smaller power stations. I think Pecron is the only one that has done it with the E1500LFP which has 300-400w DC output.

My friend, I'm on Long Island New York and I have an offer, a serious offer to you. Actually I think you would be doing me the favor. I have a 25 foot shuttle bus and I need the heat, AC, lights and radio to run when the bus is off, completely off. I don't think running the heat or AC for four hours a day will work off solar; and I think the best combination would be a generator hidden underneath as well as a shore power system as well so I can plug in if needed. My question is to you, will you come build this for us? I know you will do it proper and will pay you for your time of course. I am putting it out there.....

Dualex i wish when people would say what size of wire one uses for this configuration and have not seen one do it ? You do a very detialed job on most things but for the aveage joe it would help. I am doing it for my mini van and i got 6 awg from battery to my victron dc to dc charger 30 amp with two 50 amp breaker and 10 awg to the 6 spot fuse bar then on to my ac200p Bluetti which is 2000 watts. and accessory wires ? Not sure but are much smaller. I got 4 - 100 watts of solar but the wire configuration to the battery is done . I hope this setup charges my battery when driving with solar and dc to dc charger. Thanks Pat

Awesome vid my dude! So i would assume instead of the cig lighter outlet which would only charge the power station at 100 watts, i could run cable straight from the car battery to an 500 watt inverter with a fuse to power/charge the power station at 400 watts or what the car/truck altenator puts out?
Would you have a swtich in-between dc and solar to charge the power station or just unplug one source and plug in the other? Thanks im tunned in!

The Anker power station he has a take up to 400 watts of solar input. With this device it’s pretty much a “Plug and Play” machine, so hooking up the panels is very easy, and straightforward and you can just plug them into the back of this machine.
