Shot by crackerfarm as scott avett & the lads print the 2011 tour poster. This video contains an insightful interview with Scott about the making of the print.
I don't know what is more amazing... That Scott has so much talent, or that he is so willing to share it with anyone and everyone. These guys deserve far more respect than 98% of anyone else that has ever been in the music industry.
Been around a long time-love, respect, and prayers you guys don't harden your hearts-Avett Brothers we NEED you- from one who watched the Beatles on Ed Sullivan- the only "new" music that is genuine and speaks to the heart is yours. As for Scott, major crushin' going on here
Scott that is a fantastic drawing. The concept, detail, and, the value ranges are exceptional. Printmaking is not a lost art . You have incredible drawing talent. I am an illustrator too. I use many mediums and techniques that work for me. Printmaking was one i never really mastered. I did learn all the old masters techniques at the Art Institute of Boston. You have an outstanding ability and talent to provoke thought and inspiration through your music and art. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Like light and water, creativity and joy refuse to be hidden or contained. Creative individuals are like great spotlights and fountains inviting all within their range to partake of their vision and open themselves to the awesome miracles of life that surround us every day. The Avetts & friends spray creativity with the force of a fire hose, with the brilliance of lightening bolts -and sometimes like one drop of water falling into the ocean or one match lit in a concert hall.

The process of opening up to showing all of their love and creativity rain in this video. I love this so much.
As an artist and an Avett Brothers fan...I absolutely loved this. Exceptional work. Thank you for sharing.
