    I just started taking creatine and the first things I noticed immediately upon taking it one hour before resistance training.
    - more energy
    - less fatigue
    - no post day muscle soreness
    - muscles bigger during training; more swole!
    - increased focus and cognition.

      It’s not metabolized like say caffeine where you get the effect right after ingestion.
      It’s at the cellular level so it has to be consumed daily to get the cells to the level where effects are realized.
      So it doesn’t work like ‘pre’ to give you the boost or effects right away its built up until it saturates the muscle cells and you keep taking it to keep them at that level once they reach saturation.

I cannot wait to put it in my whey protein isolate shake this evening! I realize it can't hurt anything for me to try this. I just pray it will help, eventually. 😊

      As long as your getting your RDA of 4700 mg of potassium per day and sodium from Himalayan salt

    • @coffeetalk924
      @coffeetalk924 Год назад +2

      @phoenixrisin2269 the optimal level of potassium is easy to get from fruits and vegetables. On the otherhand, the RDA for magnesium is 400mg for men and 350mg for women. Unfortunately, lots of people fall short of these daily doses because it isn't so easy to get that level of magnesium from food sources these days. In case you're skeptical of that claim, try counting your milligrams of magnesium everyday for a week.
      One of the reasons it's extremely important to optimize your magnesium while taking creatine is that creatine uses magnesium for ATP production. I think that alot of these people who claim to be "creatine non-responders" are actually deficient in magnesium.

    • @alexc2265

      I have not heard of it increasing blood pressure. It does increase water in the body, but not in the way that salt does as the water weight added due to creatine is in the tissues and not the blood. So I think based on what I have heard from experts, including those who have addressed side effects.

    I knew creatine immediately before my workout had a distinct effect! Only caffeine and magnesium have had such an immediately remarkable effect for me. All sorts of other stuff has been rather "iffy," with some substances seeming to help long-term. I take taurine and citrulline on faith, but I can't say I notice the difference. Same for carnitine.

    This just makes me wonder whether humans were just meant to eat raw meat. The more you cook meat, the more you denature the nutrients (& enzymes), including creatine. Vitamin B1 is almost 100% destroyed when cooked, there’s studies on it. Vitamin B1 just so happens to be one of the most prevalent deficiencies too 🤔
