Every American brass musician extends a firm salute to our good friends and cousins from Yorkshire, in the north of England. American brass players grew up doing our best to emulate this sound. 👍
Wow! As a Teenager I played concerts conducted by Harry Mortimer, Roy Newsome and Maj. Peter Parkes (who was a regular conductor while I was in the Yorkshire Schools Band), I also did a local concert where the Child's Brothers were the guest soloists, but to have them as your musical directors........that's quite a haul!!!
Hi TheSproutarian, I have been following and collecting a lot of Black Dyke items, videos, cds, posters since I was a child. This has allowed me to meet the musicians several times, and to stay in touch with them. I wanted to highlight the history of this Band, unique in the world. When I visited the Bandroom in 2014, it led me to create this RUclips channel. Thanks for your support and happy holidays! Maxime
@@maximegirodvenoge Your video is AMAZING!!!!! You makes dreams come true. I've always wanted to know what Black Dyke bandroom looked like and see all these things. I live on the other side of the world very far away.
@@maximegirodvenoge I think l should let you know that youtube might cease to exist shortly and all things uploaded to youtube will be lost. The replacement for youtube will be Ganjing World.

Immortal is very, very Immortal..... A great band with a great sound.
First time I've heard this piece out of a concert recording. So many little aspects you normally can't here. Brings a new dimension to the music.
Awesome! Simply the best.
Amazing Brass Band !
you can feel the immense history, pride and resolve of the British people in every note.
Absolutely spectacular! One of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard played marvelously by these wonderful musicians!
Probably the best brass band-piece ever 🎵
You think this is good, you have to listen to them play Metropolis 1927.
👍
More people need this in their life
