We lived in a small mobile home and we used liquid rubber on our roof. Once a year a new coat!

I bought a 40 ft. high cube shipping container in 2016. It was a fair/poor condition-type. I had a breach in the roof and noticed several more areas that only needed light pressure to penetrate through. I backed the breach with a superficial application of duct tape that was later removed. But I simply used Flex Seal. I used a roller for the most part, but I poured in it areas that were the lesser condition. Even with the duct tape the Flex Seal didn't pour through to the inside. Then after it dried, I added a coat of reflective paint. Like I said ...that was in 2016 and now it's almost 2021 and I have not had any problems what-so-ever. Of-course in the beginning there that part of my brain that said you have to go extreme, buy a pool liner, adhesive, etc. But nope! --just under 5 gallons of Flex Seal to cover the entire top AND repair the breach and the other potential ones.

Hi Jax. So I went to skoolie palooza in Jan 2020 was wondering if you went? I'm new to the bus life and I need to do my whole bus but wanted to know where I can get the supplies to do my roof? 2004 international. 40 ft pusher. Its a slow build I'm doing it alone while I'm living on it. LOL. I still love it.

DOOD THE GUY IS LAZY, THE ROOF WAS LEAKING AND DID NOTHING??? GOOD THING YOU HELPED HIM OUT BUT. I WENT TO HOME DEPOT GOT SOME BRIGHT WHITE EXTERIOR GLOSS PAINT, SPENT ABOUT $60 DID 4 COATS. NO LEAKS.
