There may be a time when everything beloved lost will come back to you for a brief amount of time. This will give you the chance to apreciate and say goodbye.
I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Reign Bishop thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you again so much for this posting and others. For a time, I feel like I was a kid again in the 1950s and feel the happiness that I had then. I'm 69 now with disabilities. What I wouldn't give to go back to those happy and joyful days with no pain, and active again.
@flint the kaka harris When I'm old, I'll have enough common sense to enjoy things, instead of projecting my dear of my mortality into whining a lot about the good old days.
@@Popebug When you are considered old , you will most likely not like that newer stuff either..The old shows were much better then todays shows..They had better morals and better stories..the newer the shows get the more stupid they are.!
This is first rate storytelling! I'm pausing at the 10:01 mark to make this comment. This is so profoundly stirring, strange and beautiful . . . What a great way for a family to spend a 1/2 hr together. I remember this show way back on a Sunday afternoon sometime around 1964 when I was five. The power to move and entrance is still very much alive, intact! God Bless
Director/host Newland IS this show. He somehow not only put the shows together, but created a beguiling atmosphere with his tone and demeanor. (He also directed the now classic made-for-television movie, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK.)
Well done/intriguing flow of events. A fairly complicated series of events that is told with clarity, and without deliberately confusing editing etc. which has been done so often in recent years in an attempt to be "arty", to impress and/or make something appear to be or feel "more" than what it is. Good, direct storytelling.
Couldn't agree with you more..these new shows today often goes off the rails to the point where it only confuses and complicates a story to the point of boredom and disinterest....then mix that in with five minutes of commercials for every eight minutes of program,, till hell... I just give up and turn the damn mess off... Today's Television isn't worth the time and Brain cells it kills in trying to watch it !!!!
The tall dark haired woman (Julia) at the beginning and middle of this clip, was Burgess Meredith's wife on the Twilight Zone episode 'Time enough at Last'.
Wow. Another very strange one. I wish they'd do more of these today. Jonathan Frakes hosted a similar show years later but it didn't take well I guess.
30 Apr 2021 Ha Ha Ha, I fully concur. But then it would have been a mountain of a task to have it trained in jumping onto the bed, licking Alice's face instinctively in delight only to yelp in recoil, discerning what would have been a stranger's countenance and not that of Laurie's!
The thing that I really like about this series is that they are all based on true stories, admittedly not all have been substantiated but nevertheless....:/
“Who Are You” Season 2, Episode 20, aired 2 February 1960. Philip Bourneuf as Carl Mason, Anna Lee as Helen Mason, Reba Waters as Laurie Warren/Alice Mason, Phyllis Hill as Phyllis Warren, Ross Elliott as George Warren, Mike Keene, Doctor, King Calder, Police Chief Thompson, Jon Lormer as Joe Fisher, Jacqueline deWit as Julia, John Newland as Himself-Host.
@ 17:04 "Mama what's happened to my face ? It's not mine." . . . Answer ???? You've been *discombobulated* by ONE STEP BEYOND into the commercial zone. Deal with it.
The only criticism I have is they couldn't get the costume time period right. The men look like they've stepped out of the 50's and the women from the 1900
The grief of the parents to lose a sweet young girl must have been excruciating, unbearable. Perhaps their little girl's spirit understood this, and wanted to comfort them in some way.
30 Apr 2021 Okay, this is in my book one of the most intriguing and disturbing enactments of what is touted to be a true event (which I am apt to believe is genuine). Beyond the mere entertainment value, the very thought of it actually happening to YOU / ME, in the flesh and the spiritual realm, deserves grave contemplation. If the 'mixed-up' situation had not / would not resolve by its own strange mysterious mechanism, could there be any fully satisfactory compromise solution for both the Masons and Warrens? How? Alternate living arrangements? What would the courts rule as legally permissible? Reactions from the neighbourhood / community / world at large? How is poor Alice aka Laurie likely to turn out mentally and psychologically? It's mind-boggling if one cares enough to tease out the jumbled threads. I agree with viewer "Earthdogbonzo3's" comments that this is indeed a profoundly strange, moving and entrancing first-rate storytelling episode. But John Newland's "Purposeful Possession" labelling sounds like a sanitised, clinical cop-out description of what bothers almost on the dark side. What about "Soul Transportation" ? A male version of a fictional plot here could be say, the spirit of an executed drug lord transposing itself with the soul of an innocent high-schooler badly disabled in the crossfire of rival street gangs. You people work out all the plausible scenarios. And of course John Newland deserves his honourable place among the likes of Rod Serling and Alfred Hitchcock. Thank you PizzaFlix.
One of the best ! The girl who had "died" took the body of Laurie so she could get back to her home . This helped her mother from going insane. Meantime, the mother finds out she's pregnant again so she leaves the other girl's body. The other girl then comes to and she goes back to HER home. I bet the spirit of the dead girl hung around till the baby was born and took the body and went to live with her parents again. Thats cool. Those doctors are going to be able to tell the sex of the baby someday ! =)
This isnt fictional, asshole. These eps are based on true stories. Even if it were fictional, that would be the explanation. Of course you dont know what or who you are so you wont accept it. Youll have to wait till you "die" to find out. When you do, try to remember this episode and the dim wit who tried to explain it to you. B
Axiomist, that is a wonderful and uplifting explanation. It make me beg the question - did the spirit of the dead girl enter into the baby and recall its past life. I personally am skeptical of the paranormal but I do try to keep an open mind.
I disagree with the woman at the end when she told the girl it was very very good thing that happened. Months of the girls life was stolen from the ghost daughter of the other couple. Months of her life she will never get back. Month her real parents will never get back. Nowadays they would have exorcised the spirit out of the ghost girl out of the little girl and made the ghost girl leave her body, which would have been good, that would have been a very very good thing to do instead. In this story the ghost daughter was very wrong in taking over the body of the living girl.
She possessed a girl at the moment of death and saved her life. In exchange she used the girl to save her mother's life. 2 lives were saved at the expense of a few months and mature adults who dealt with it just fine. Not easy but where's the problem?
Now that was quite a story, but it did help the one lady come out of her stupid over her daughter's death that's just another reason why we just don't know what's really going on in this. I never saw that written in the Bible maybe they took that part out?????
There may be a time when everything beloved lost will come back to you for a brief amount of time. This will give you the chance to apreciate and say goodbye.
Or that Person that was Lost will come back and you can say hello...forever!

I am absolutely hooked on this show. Thank you. I was born in 79 so I missed this.
great story, great series, and john newland is perfect as the host
This is one of the better documented events in the history of the paranormal.
Yes I read about it years ago. Really fascinating case.
I just looked it up and it doesn't exist anywhere. Where can it be found?
I'm so into this story it's the best I've seen in a long time ; it's blowing my mind wow
Thank you for bringing us these programs ❤
This phenomena is Currently called a "Walk In " Great episode 🙌
Why change the name. Possession makes more sense. How does a spirit walk ?
Director/host Newland IS this show. He somehow not only put the shows together, but created a beguiling atmosphere with his tone and demeanor. (He also directed the now classic made-for-television movie, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK.)
Your comments are well spoken and on-target!
Not to mention the music. I watched this show with my parents when I was a kid. Music scared me then... and still does!
There is way more to our existence than meets our senses.
Our 5 senses anyway.. 😌
That was one of the best and most fascinating..thanks
At 19.00 when the girl ran up stairs and carl turned towards us I thought he was about to host the show for awhile lol
It’s a shame we didn’t see the reunion of Laurie and her parents
Been a while since hearing this. Once the woman became pregnant, the dead child no longer needed a host. It happens.

She meant it was good that the girl wasn't possessed any longer.
It was more likely a demon pretending to be the dead girl. God doesn't allow ghosts to roam around possessing people .
