    This was a great tutorial. An American lady came into work asking if I could frame her flag. Thanks to this tutorial and a bit of practice, she was very impressed with the job done. And now I know how to fold an American flag. Many thanks from Ireland 👍👍

    The flag I have on my Jeep has become tattered from it being attached to a moving vehicle, and it’s time I burn it, but it’s been about 6 years since I’ve had to fold/respectfully dispose of old glory. So I need to revisit this and relearn the folding process.

When it was my turn to hoist the flag I had intentionally hooked it upside down and screamed anarchy. Proudest moment of my childhood.

      So if your on striped end the part in your left hand shouldn't have any openings they should all be in your right hand. Now take you left hand to your right and that's how you make your 1st fold, also in case you didn't know when it's all folded up there shouldn't be any red showing

      I don’t think so, but you could try it?

    • @Evan-27
      @Evan-27 Год назад +1

      The proper way to fold a Swedish flag:
      Fold the flag in half lengthwise so that the points of the flag are aligned.
      Fold the flag in half lengthwise a second time to form a long strip with the red disc facing the ground.
      Fold the pointed end back onto itself to form a rectangle.
      Fold a big part of the left corner to the back.
      For the right sides, fold only a small part of the corner to the back.
      The right crossbar should be longer than the one on the left side.

    • @tcfishing1591

      Yes but it’s in the way that they burn it for example stomping on it while burning, etc it’s the improper way to dispose of it

    • @xs10z
      @xs10z 2 года назад +1

      I always laugh when people do not understand the meaning of "intent" and "state of mind". If I touch your wife's tiddy, I might get charged with assault. If her doctor does it, he gets paid. Same act, different intent, different consequences.

    • @I.m_glad_you.re_here
      @I.m_glad_you.re_here Год назад +3

      Correct. Burning a flag is a proper way to dispose of unusable USA flag. But as others have mentioned, not every flag burning is respectful.
      To those in doubt I recommend folding the flag and take it to the nearest American Legions club to have them burn the flag respectfully.
