I’m a little confused as to how you decide where the data points go for the prediction element of the baseline logic in the graph. I understand it’s at the same level with a similar trend and variability, but how do you know where specifically on the graph that they go and how many points to add? Is it just a general estimation?

Hey, great question, there is no precise method for prediction. Prediction is more of a general theory that, if all things were held equal in a steady state, the behavior would more or less continue as is.
is there a difference between reversal and withdrawal? Or under the 5th edition task list are they now used interchangeably?
According to the Cooper et al. (2019) text, “Some authors use the term withdrawal design to describe experiments based on an A-B-A-B analysis and reserve the term reversal design for studies in which the behavioral focus of the treatment variable is reversed (or switched to another behavior), as in the DRO and DRI/DRA reversal techniques described later in this chapter. However, reversal design, as behavior analysts most often use the term, encompasses both withdrawals and reversals of the independent variable, signifying the investigator’s attempt to demonstrate “behavioral reversibility” (Baer, Wolf, & Risley, 1968; Thompson & Iwata, 2005). Also, withdrawal design is sometimes used to describe an experiment in which the treatment variables are sequentially or partially withdrawn after their effects have been analyzed in an effort to promote maintenance of the target behavior (Rusch & Kazdin, 1981).”
What about ABC design? Where u have A baseline B intervention and C a new intervention?? Is this also a valid single subject design?
That type of design is often used as a reversal design where you might introduce your baseline, the two interventions, and then revert back to baseline. You could also use something like that design to compare and then pick the best intervention.
