George Foreman is something beyond comprehension man... This man was 43 years old here against a 29 years old beast Evander Holyfield... And he literally evenly matched him... I can't find any word to say for this butcher.
I still remember watching this match; I was on the edge of my seat! The sheer power behind the punches being exchanged by these two was something else. Holyfield was quick and on point, unleashing his like a jackhammer (just look at those traps). And Foreman, being the bigger and a little slower, landed some blows that nearly knocked Holyfield out. His punches don’t look like much, but they were certainly among the most powerful among all the heavyweights (of all time!). If they didn’t knock somebody out when they connected, you could be sure as heck that they inflicted a lot of pain - and damage. A truly unforgettable and riveting bout between these two legends who, in my books and next to Tyson, will always be the greatest!
Big George had this incredible ability to stay calm and see punches coming, while in the middle of a storm. Holyfield was too fast and too much of a machine. But boy, was George a tough guy.
Foreman would have finished him in two rounds in his prime. No question. That he did so well when so old is testament to how great those guys in the 1970's were.
What drove me crazy about Holyfield was that he was the best conditioned boxer ever. But instead of using that conditioning to improve his footwork and wear out Foreman he chose to stand toe to toe with the guy.
@@Izzmaxarealthink That's the difference between him and Lewis . If something didn't work Lewis changes his game plan Holy field didn't have a Game plan just Warrior style
Definitely not this foremen had better punch technique and wasn’t throwing wild and wide punches that tired him out And he also had actual defense here and was 40+ pounds heavier then he was his prime which is huge so I wouldn’t be surprised if this version of foreman hit harder than 70s foreman
Holyfield had a granite chin, you're not beating him by just punching hard. If anything he would've been KO'd as his older self was a better boxer with a better chin
My two favorite heavyweights going at it. Amazing that Foreman was NEVER knocked down during his comeback despite taking some heavy blows from Holyfield, Morrison, Cooney, and others.
I don't care what anyone says in my heart evander holyfield tore George Foreman up .George Foreman was old also. The warrior the real deal evander holyfield.
@@Simon-talks A better fighter and had a better career than Foreman? By which metric is this? Foreman was 42 here, and had come back after being retired for 10 years, during which he didn't set foot in the ring. Holyfield was getting whooped by the likes of Larry Donald and Chris Byrd at that age. Not to mention Holyfield is a proven drugs cheat. Just look at his physique lol, it's ridiculous. He could trap a bear with those traps.
According to the stats, Holyfield was a better fighter, had a better career, and defeated foreman. Nobody remembers Chris Byrd for good reason(running around the ring, hiding from people). And all of them used drugs. Look at mike at 19(Rooney went on record and said they put mike on several compounds in each training camp before fights, including Anadrol because it made him very irritable, angry and aggressive). And look at how incredibly Holyfield manhandled tyson twice and made him quit....Holyfield is an all-time great. The others.....nope...
Foreman un increible boxeador contundente aunque fue superado por la juventud de hilifiel foreman es uno de los mejor fel mundo despues de tyson i ali i marciano
Foreman should have done more with his left in this fight. Everytime they clashed when Holyfield went in with the right and Foreman with the left he got in trouble. The right was too slow for Holyfield and he made perfect use of that by going under and above
Foreman did all this with little defensive footwork. You never see him back up or back out. Crazy how strong he is. And he's well past his prime here. Younger foreman would have wiped the floor.
Ali knocked him out in his prime 20 years previous and here he is against the best in the world at 42 and he goes the whole way with him in a great fight what does it say about ali..
Страшно подумать, что бы Форман с ним сделал, когда был в его возрасте, или старше на десять лет.Хотя..., если как ранее 15 раундов- Холифильд упал ьы тогда и так!
I've eaten a full power body shot from a heavyweight once (I was a teenager I was like featherweight 😅). This dumbass went crazy because he couldn't catch me in a casual training sessions and hit me full power... My coach had to save my life, went in my back and pressed my solar plexus with his fists and I don't know why, it made me breathe again... Frightening to imagine Holyfield's body left hooks power.
Never tire of watching this. One of the best ever. The wee smile from George Foreman when the results were read out. Two of the greatest.
George Foreman is something beyond comprehension man... This man was 43 years old here against a 29 years old beast Evander Holyfield... And he literally evenly matched him... I can't find any word to say for this butcher.
All thanks to his unbelievable chin. Without it he would have been knocked out surely.
Nice describe 😂 „Butcher“
Terminator!
Evander holyfield tore him apart what are you talking about
Essas pancadas na cabeça, vai trazer umas boas dores de cabeça?
How did that combo from Evander @1:00 not drop George?! Those punches looked like he put 90% power behind each of those...Wow what chin. 😮
My favourite HW championship fight ever and one of the best ever hands down. Two great champions that fought a real war.
Holyfield was a true crazy warrior.
only women destroyed such a warrior
Foreman is an absolute machine.
not many fights like this anymore...these guys are eating punches like they are Sunday lunch

George Foreman is the strongest heavyweight boxer of all time in my opinion!
Big George had this incredible ability to stay calm and see punches coming, while in the middle of a storm. Holyfield was too fast and too much of a machine. But boy, was George a tough guy.
Yep, George had the uncanny ability to watch most of the punches coming right into his face.
Foreman reacts to holyfields onslaughts like they are a minor inconvenience 😮
Except for the parts where he was staggering around like a drunk leaving a bar at 2am at the end of a couple of the rounds....
@@Simon-talks Still surviving, and Holyfield couldn't land another clean punch. That right to the chin would have KO'd 99% of boxers.
Holyfield landed the majority of clean and effective punches and won the fight.
George Foreman...!!! Nothing but absolute respect for the man!
Foreman would have finished him in two rounds in his prime. No question. That he did so well when so old is testament to how great those guys in the 1970's were.
Lo que da más mérito a Ali

Fought like a real champ and stood some inhuman blows.
He wasn't gone be able to dance the whole fight tho
Holyfield had warrior spirit, this did more bad for him as he was not a big puncher and did better when decided to just outbox you
@@Izzmaxarealthink That's the difference between him and Lewis . If something didn't work Lewis changes his game plan Holy field didn't have a Game plan just Warrior style
Conditioned with steroids.
Хороший был бокс в те времена и бойцы высокого уровня. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Let's keep mind, Foreman was well out of his prime. I guarantee that a punch from Foreman in his prime would have knocked Holyfield out
GUARANTEED it would've!
He is way more well rounded here than in his prime. He has better rhythm, tempo, pacing. And his chin got way better for some reason.
@@GrubKiller436 all of that is true, but the power in his prime was crazy

Crazy how these guys stood there and kept fighting after being rocked by punches that has over 900 pounds of force. Wild af.
None of today’s boxers have the warrior spirit that these two legends do.
My God. This was insane
This fight ☝️Still holds up as 1 of the All time Gr8’s in Heavyweight History. IMO wow wow wow!!!
Evander was the real deal, but George Foreman was a beast, criminally underrated.
but static an slow.
Grandi boxer,la vera grande classica , meravigliosa boxe era questa! Grande video, grazie mille, Paolo.
Wow!! Makes me appreciate both of these guys even more. Makes Ali's rumble in the jungle win against a much younger Foreman even more amazing too
Best Boxers of all times
Ali , Foreman, Marciano , Tyson
Remember Foreman was fighting the likes of Ali way back in the 70s
an incredible match. two great legends.
Foreman had a 50lb edge in this fight, prime George was 30lbs lighter and while he could’ve beaten Holyfield, he could’ve lost too.
Two men made of stone, but harder than a rock !!!
this fight is scary af
Foreman is tougher than a steel toed work boot!
Tyson fury will be a walking punching bag in the ring back in this era . Salute to these 2 warriors
Foreman lost because of his age. He simply wasn't quite as sharp as he used to be.
I think George might have beaten Holyfield in his prime.
Omg, Foreman is literally a tank
My two favorite heavyweights going at it. Amazing that Foreman was NEVER knocked down during his comeback despite taking some heavy blows from Holyfield, Morrison, Cooney, and others.
Holyfield had huge physical disadvantages in this fight, evens things out.
Che incontro e che pugili!!! Foreman una vera leggenda 💪💪💪
Foreman in his prime would've send Holyfield to the morgue.
Mathematically certain !!
If Big George is in his prime in this fight, it is surely he will knock Holyfield out, the way he did to Michael Moorer.
George is unbelievable. He came from an era of tough competitors just like he was. Holyfield was cut from that cloth too.
Foreman doesn't have time to fall, he'll fall when he's dead.
Здесь всё как на ладони, ясно и понятно, почему Тайсон боялся БОЛЬШОГО ДЖОРДЖА!👊🤛🤜💪
George foreman, what a human being . And he loves Jesus
Round 9 could have been the homerun for Holyfield and round 10 could have been Foreman’s homerun
GEORGE FOREMAN IS TRULY A TANK
George had more stamina at 43 than today’s heavyweights
This Holyfield would've stopped Lewis
Naaah you wish that, but no chance for anyone to take lewis in his best day
Lewis would have studied Holy fields weak spots before meeting him . Lennox was the most Sophisticated Heavy weight .
This Holyfield was a TANK!
The smile on George's face.
Incredible match with two great fighters.😢
Foreman Legenda!
What a boxer old Goerge was
I don't care what anyone says in my heart evander holyfield tore George Foreman up .George Foreman was old also. The warrior the real deal evander holyfield.
This earlier version of Holyfield would have knocked out Lennox Lewis.
If I was Big George I would have immediately demanded a rematch where Holyfield had to wear a 3rd glove... on his head!
And two more on his elbows.❗💯
Holyfield had one of the best chins fr ate George and tysons punches when nobody else could
He may of had a good chin but listen to both men speak in 2024 ,Big George comes out on top whereas Holyfield sounds terrible
Unlike a Hollywood boxing movie, no sound effects need to be added.
Holyfield, el boxeador que pegaba más con la cabeza que con los puños... Al gran Tyson le abrió las cejas A CABEZAZOS...
Big big big George...from all points of view 🎉
Mais um único round foreman nocauteria holliefield, que admitiu depois da luta...foreman perdeu uma única luta e foi para M.Ali z aire 1974...
According to the stats, Holyfield landed 225 power punches in this fight (Foreman 80), and Foreman never went down.
@@Simon-talks A better fighter and had a better career than Foreman? By which metric is this? Foreman was 42 here, and had come back after being retired for 10 years, during which he didn't set foot in the ring.

To these guys boxing was real. Punch after punch, today people just run around the ring to finish the 12 rounds and take money home
Ez az igazi box❤
holy field punches can put a young bull into sleep, foreman ate most of it! what a fight
"George seems to have absorbed all those blows from the last round" that's some funny commentary right there
25 year old Foreman destroys Holyfield in 4 rounds. If Holyfield was around in the 1970s, Ali and Frazier destroy him and Jerry Quarry beats him.
Thanks
Foreman un increible boxeador contundente aunque fue superado por la juventud de hilifiel foreman es uno de los mejor fel mundo despues de tyson i ali i marciano
Muhammad Ali would be proud
Jor Forman is a great boxer.
Да, не то что тайсон
Foreman took some heavy licks. But he was still standing. He was tough!
This reminded me of usyk vs joshua 1
🤣🤣🤣 come on casual lol 😂
I don't think Holyfield last 3 rds with a prime Foreman
If he does, Foreman is toast.
Foreman lo mejor boxeador de todos tiempos
Titanium jaws 😱😱😱😱
And imagine Holyfield beat Tyson easily and knock him out 😮
Foreman may have lost but he gave a great account of himself and was taken seriously from then on.
Holyfield said himself that Foreman had timing. Power thrills, speed kills, but timing rules them all.
Foreman should have done more with his left in this fight. Everytime they clashed when Holyfield went in with the right and Foreman with the left he got in trouble. The right was too slow for Holyfield and he made perfect use of that by going under and above
FOREMAN IS A TANK !!!
That was kinda ridiculous competition.
In my opinion Mohammad ali is the greatest either the most talented boxer for ever!!!
I wonder what Foreman thought of Holyfeld's power and vice versa. Both can hit hard with these two champions!!!
Holyfield said it was the hardest he had ever been hit.
Natural Cruiserweight spent back half of his career clubbing it out with guys much bigger naturally
Foreman, Bowe, Lewis
É o véi mais forte que já vi
Great night for the sport of boxing.

We all know it . Big George is the man...
Бокс дело молоды☝
Foreman had great endurance
Wow both of them Got Chins
George took a lot of punches...
Remember the TIMEX commercial? Takes A Lickin' And Keeps On Tickin'!👊
This was a real boxing not today "scripting one'
Foreman n 1

If George Foreman was younger he would beat holifield badly
Foreman put up a great fight with Holyfield. In his prime, Foreman would've finished Holyfield off within five rounds.
14 лет разница...это о многом. Формен - мощ! Холи филд- пример труда над собой. Заслуженные люди!
It was only formans age that was his demise at his best this would be been a very different fight but holified was terrific at any weight
Evander’s left hooks to the body look nasty as hell

Bouth great boxer
Foreman shouldve won rd 2 had him in prime position missed knockout chance😢😢😢
If foreman was 10 years younger he would ko holyfield in 3 rounds
I would say 5 years younger
