Is it just me or is the vocalist really bad? out sounds like he's walking around, mumbling and not giving his all. There's no reason to be a chock like that when there are 4 others all playing their hearts out. The best vocals came from the rhythm guitarist and the crowd, the main life just sounded like a whine.
That’s the reason they never made it big. A shitty vocalist can ruin a band. Can be replaced (happened to other bands) but not always possible and in the case of Finch, it never happened. Loved the records even though the lyrics were odd but the first time I heard a live performance, I was like - their lead singer is bad.
