I just got this, and I can't figure out how to get the caps off the red and black probe wires. They're so stubby, they're basically unusable as there is barely any metal exposed.
Thank you. I have two projects I've been wanting to get done and cant find my meter, so I ordered a new one this morning and wanted to know how to use it.
Have you tried checking current with it? I used it on my bread board with some led’s said to run at 20-30mA but my meter gives me 2.6mA. I have it in the correct port and am checking in series (using the probes to complete the connection). Any help is appreciated. Thank you for this helpful video!
First clear tutorial I have seen. Thanks! I now understand the basics of using the MM.
I’m glad it helped. Thanks for the comment!
Just wanted to say thank you, new homeowner and love DIY but can only learn thanks to knowledgeable people like yourself

Tells you how to connect transistors but what do numbers mean? no info on that.
Can you test spark plugs with this
Any ohm resistance, setting you can measure spark plugs off of any meter
Possibly the world's most unaccurate multimeter.absolutely shite.
This was reviewed online as the third best automotive multimeter in the UK
Chris, You would MOST LIKELY fail my Electrical Engineering course with flying colors! :)
Chris is just mad he can only afford the $7 harbor freight multimeter.
