Makita UC3541A Electric Chainsaw Review

Makita UC3541A 240V Electric Chainsaw 35cm 1800W
A review and demonstration of the Makita chainsaw, and why I bought this particular one.
Possibly the first thing to say is that it came with a really long cable and a UK plug.
For sure there are plenty of better chain saws out there but bearing in mind that this one comes in at under £100 it is great value for money. For garden clearance and chopping smaller logs it does the job perfectly well.
If I wanted to use a chain saw everyday then no this wouldn't be the one to buy, but for occasional lighterweight garden work this gets the job done at a great price.

She put the chain up wrong, or need to be sharpened, it cuts much faster.

To be fair its more the way I am using it, it dosn't saw like a petrol Stihl you really need to jab the prongs at the base of the saw into the wood to get some decent leverage on it... for an occasional use saw though it is good...

I cut a cherry tree down that was abt. 20" wide, to be fair it was probably too big a job for it but it did the job anyway, in the process the chain broke/lost a tooth.
