    Hi there!
I’ll actually be visiting Hersheypark for the very first time this summer. It’s great to see that you know so much about Hersheypark and I can’t wait for my trip this summer!

Great and thanks for the kind words about our video. I've been going for decades so Hersheypark is a huge part of who I am. You will love it and consider subscribing cause we have a lot more Hersheypark content coming soon.

I think you are absolutely going to love it. Of all the parks I've been to, Hersheypark and Bush Gardens Williamsburg are my favorites. I visited Hersheypark a few weeks ago with my wife and young kids. I got on 7 coasters and they got on 3 themselves (seated next to me). The free Chocolate World dark ride is also super fun and they have a bunch of new paid experiences in that building now too. Oodles of flat rides for the kids, and they loved meeting the characters. *** PRO TIP ***: I didn't know this until my recent trip, but HersheyPark tickets come with a 2 hour preview the night before your full day visit (3 hours if you stay in one of their signature hotels like we did at the Hershey Lodge). So what that means is: We literally went the day before and as soon as the clock struck 5pm (on a night were they were closing at 8pm), they let us into the park. So we stayed until closing that night and then the whole next day (all on the same ticket)! In my humble opinion, Wildcat's Revenge is the best coaster in the park, Storm Runner has a launch that you will never forget in addition to a great layout after that, Fahrenheit is way underrated, and Candymonium will make you forget all your troubles. LOL. Skyrush was fun but not as intense as I expected based on all the reviews. Maybe due to the new restraints or the fact that I was not on a wing seat. Have a great time!

@@HowToBeABusinessAnalyst Thanks so much for all of this info! I greatly appreciate it! Do you have any tips for solo riders like myself going to Hersheypark for the first time?

    • @HowToBeABusinessAnalyst

@@DaRealTaylorPlayz Ah, being solo gives you lots more freedom to ride whatever you want. I'll give you the pattern that worked for me: First, get there maybe 30 minutes before opening so you are in line in a good position. Then, I ran over to Skyrush first. Tip 1: Don't be discouraged if you see that some coasters are not running yet right at opening time. This happened to me with Skyrush, but I kept walking there and by the time I arrived a few minutes later, it was running and I barely had anyone in front of me on line. Then, I went over to Stormrunner and again, maybe only 3 or 4 people in front of me on line. Then I went toward the back of the park to Wildcats Revenge. Tip 2: Jolly Rancher remix is right next to Stormrunner but I think most people would say that making sure you ride Wildcats Revenge is a better use of your time. As I started working my way back toward the front of the park, I rode Fahrenheit which in my opinion is underrated. It's capacity is poor so this was the longest line for me but still maybe only 15 minutes at this time of day. Then I rode Trailblazer twice which had maybe a 10-15 minute wait and then caught the aquatic show. I rode Comet and Cocoa Cruiser the previous night. Tip 3: Comet was a fairly long wait (maybe 40 minutes) but it is awesome. Tip 4: I saw a video on RUclips saying that you should resist the urge to ride Candymonium as soon as you enter the park, even though it is the first coaster you see right in front of you, because everyone will have that same idea and it will be packed. Apparently Candymonium has a dead time around 3pm or 3:30pm when far fewer people are lining up for it. I have not ridden Great Bear, Jolly Rancher Remix, Laff Trakk, Lightning Racer, Sooperdooperlooper, or Wild Mouse so I can't speak to those. Laff Trakk and Lightning Racer are pretty near Wildcat's Revenge, so you might hit those all at the same time since you wouldn't be running back to meet people like I was. 😁 I hear Laff Trakk can get a long line while Lightning Racer usually does not since it's tucked at the back of the park behind the water park portion. For reference, I went a week or two after opening day on a Saturday night and most of the day Sunday until about 5pm and three crowds were not large at all. If you are going in the thick of summer, a weekday may be better for you. I remember the last time we went on Memorial Day and that was a huge mistake. I never saw that many people at an amusement park in my life and only managed 1 coaster, but it was Candymonium and it was awesome! 😝 Hope this all helps!

What would be cool is that I know where the ampatheater used to be is going to be a new ride, but also somewhere in that space they should during Christmas Candylane put the Kissmas tree there so it can be better viewed during NOEL for the ones that watch on the bridge that you walked across. Definitely will add to taking photos of Great Bear too. I never knew that Weird Al performed there at the park ampatheater. I'm assuming that was Fringe Stage when Creation festival was held there one year. Dad and I love the Oola Bowls!!! A couple weeks ago was in the Lancaster area and was hoping to stop at Oola Bowls, but didn't have time. They really did a great job with The Overlook, I remember going there once on a school trip and it was eh looking, now it looks amazing!!! Will have to get lunch there the next time I'm at the park...tons and tons of seating. Thank you for breaking down what a buzz bar was. I am not too fond of the melineum flyer restraints. On wood coasters I like the buzz bars. Did that Comet zip hoodie have anything on the back of it? Sorry for such a long comment...lol Thanks for showing us what's new at Hersheypark!

Thanks for watching and having some stories to go with the video. Let's see if I can break down my response.
Good idea with the Christmas tree. It would be a much better spot.
Not sure about Creation and that stage but there used to be a full schedule of performers every year and the tickets were part of the park admission.
I never had a Oola bowl yet but it is on my too do list for 2024.
The overlook was always overlooked when it came to our dining options but the sub was good so I will be going there more in 2024.
I have to look on the goodies today when I stop by to film the skyrush merch and let you know and glad I could teach you about the buzz bars.
Think I got it all and much more coming video wise in 2024

@@125RollerCoaster You're welcome and thank you for breaking everything down for me. I again apologize for it being so long.
I see, I was wondering since they had Weird Al there that I was assuming that maybe that was dubbed as Fringe. I wasn't there that year. I didn't start attending Creation till 2009, but heard the stories about when it was held at Hersheypark since Agape Farm wasn't in good enough condition to hold the festival there as usual. That is really cool about the shows that they had at the ampatheater.
Oh, man the Oola bowls are soooo good! Definitely give it a try.
      Okay, awesome thanks! :)

I worked at Disney Attractions for 9 years and I really enjoy these types of videos. Where’s your Dutch Wonderland videos? 😂. You should check out Lakeland Orchard and Cidery in Lackawanna county Pennsylvania. They have amusement rides

Don’t get me wrong but tidal force could also just have extra rain water in its trough but again this ride will operate this season but after that it could be done for 🤫

hahah, we are all good, I just have to laugh because there were a few content creators who love to do the "OMG" type videos and they are always talking about this ride. I'm sure this ride will leave someday (it is a HUGE footprint in a land locked amusement park) but not in 2024. I guess if you say it enough you are bound to get luck for it to be true.
Thanks for watching and more Hersheypark content coming soon.

They eliminated the bridge exit for this year on tidal force. Clues maybe?
