I got a pixie haircut around august and my hair had grown. I really hate it at the back because the ends of it always curls up and when I try straightening it, it never straightens. It bothers me

nice use of the razor, looks a lot quicker than scissors and looks like it gives a lot more texture to the cut, great videos by the way, nice to watch to polish up things i can't remember from college or to confirm what i have learnt, and learn new things like how to cut with razor, cheers mate :) x
I do love this cut but i must ask one thing as you went a bit fast and spoke more on the carving comb than how you decided to really establish the tops length with the razor at the beginning. Would love to see a slowed down version of the razor cutting if you could. Do keep up the great work, as a newly licensed stylist i enjoy learning much from your videos. Short cuts don't seem so daunting anymore, thank you.
More and more stylist on here are speeding up his/her work. I now just press the 'wagon wheel' and click on 0.5 which slows it down. The bad part is if they stylist is speaking they sound like they've had a few too many.

I'm in Germany, (I'm from Latin America) and here is so hard to get a good haircut (pixie overall), and all the times that I've cut the hair pixie here, never the Germans use the hair straightener (I have it a bit curly, but they don't respect the haircut I tell them I straight my hair, and they are still leaving it wet and with a lot of wax, aghrrrr!). And 90% of the times also ruin my hair. That's why I'm watching these videos and I will try to create on my own hair, I don't think I could but respect to all the hairdresser that can cut a pixie in a correct cool way and leave your client prettier and beautiful.

This is a question I end up asking a lot. Do you have any scent free hair products that you can recommend. I have mast cell activation disorder and I can't use any products with any scent in them. If I do I will have anaphalaxis. Right now I am using Free and Clear Shampoo and Conditioner but it leaves my curly hair dry and brittle. The low scent jesicurl curl cream that I have is almost too much scent for me to handle. Anyway, I very thankful for any help you can provide.

Just ran into your channel. Very nice. I have a hair type NO ONE EVER DISCUSSES ON ANY OF THESE!!!
I have naturally curly hair. It's like Curly Sue-ville up in here. BUT, it's not COARSE or THICK. It is VERY FINE!!! People always think my hair is much thicker than it is because the curls add so much volume, but my ponytail is perhaps 1/2 - 3/4" in diameter.
What kind of haircuts would you recommend for someone willing to spend about 8 seconds styling their hair after they brush it (air dry only - I won't use a blow dryer and I won't spend any time on doing anything but tossing some product on it)?
I haven't had a haircut in probably 10 years, because no one knows how to deal with it. It's curlier at the crown than anywhere else, and it's impossible to straighten in Texas humidity (even if it weren't, that would break my 8 second rule).

SJActress we are hair twins! I have the same texture and desire to not spend time on it. I have never found anyone who knows what to do with it and usually get rude comments from stylists when I do try to get help,
Ah, yes. I have resigned myself to "curly at 'X'" length hairstyles, because people just screw it up. I explain to them that the crown is curlier than the back, and then they wet it and proceed to layer it as if the layers were going to bear the same relation to one another WET as they DRY. Not the case. You cut my hair straight across, it will dry in a V-shape. So when you chop layers into it while it's wet, you end up giving me an impromptu MULLET! :D
I just grab scissors and pull my hair to the front under my chin, while it's dry, and cut off the very last 1/2" or so once a month. Nothing else to be done.

for the top did you use a parting from the bottom to determine the top length? Or is it a disconnected look with two different length/ guides.
Brittannia Freeman no he did it disconnected in the video and when I did it on my manikin it looked horrible.. probably cause he has a good manikin
