I seem to be a mix of long face and heart shape, so after some playing around between the two techniques, I seem to benefit more from minimizing the length of my face than highlighting cheekbones.

I always applied blush as if I had a round face, but my cheek bones (brag moment) are amazing and really stand out. I just tried to apply it in the hollow of my right cheek and as I normally would apply it on my left cheek bone. My left side looked nice and glowing, but the rest looked dull and still pretty round. The right side on the other hand: EVERYTHING changed! My face was elongated on that side, my cheek bone looked soooo amazing, the entire face on the right side suddenly looked more balanced and really glowing. YOU, miss, just changed my makeup routine!

I love this quick, easy tutorial! I have prominent cheek bones, but noticed when I applied blush in the same manner as every on else (on the apples) it was not flattering at all to my face, to the point i'd just cover it up and go with highlighting only. I'm quite pale now in the winter months, so I am happy to know how to perfectly apply some colour to my face. Thanks!

I think that you could contour with a matte bronzer a little farther back and upwards to your temple (if you want to slim the sides of your face), and then just between your highlighter and bronzer use the blush, putting a little on the apples of the cheeks like she said. I personally think highlighter looks great just underneath the outer edge of the eyebrow and then working down in a 'C' shape along your cheekbone. Or, what you can also do is just grab a highlighter with a blush-tone in it :)

I have a heart shape face and apply my blush around the contour area and feather it up wards toward my cheek bones. I agree with your method for heart shapes :)

OMG!! You saved my blushers! I hated my face shape which is a heart one because whenever I put on blusher I looked like a blushing freak! And so I decided to skip the blushers but I have really pale skin and I looked sick! But little did I know the right way to put on blusher, haha! Thank you!! I subscribed :) xx

Square and Round works in the same way I have a square and I use that application. I meant to make that clear in the video sorry.

i have a diamond shape face & started researching makeup for face shape when i saw how wide my face looks in photos. apparently, you do contour on the vertical edges of your face instead of in the hollows of your cheeks to slim/balance the wide parts of your face.

I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to learn about medication to stop blushing try Panlarko Blushing Cure Planner ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my friend got amazing results with it.

I have a round face and I have been applying blush exactly as you have shown. I think so many just apply it to the apples and it doesn't suit everyone! :)

No I didn't because oval can apply the blush however they like so I didn't need to cover that :)

For heart shaped faces you don't contour the lower half of the face, you contour the top of the forehead to balance with the jaw.
