I’d been wondering about this for a while now! I’m not sure I’m willing to do that to my nice tea leaves when my gaiwan is right there though! Thanks for the video 💖

If you have the option, your gaiwan is definitely the way to go. Thanks for watching!!

I use the larger tea pots for larger family gatherings. At restaurants I'll usually take my own or ask if they have a premium tea. There is one factor that is never talked about but very important if you want a good to great tea and that is the quality of the water being used. I've been to places where the water taste like hose water, which frankly even the highest quality tea would still taste bad.

That’s a great point, Cesar. Water is absolutely one of the most important factors when brewing tea.

I love the way gong food tea taste and you're getting more nutrition from using more leaves but I hate having to make it 10 × 2 do all that I was curious the amount of nutrition and caffeine is fiend in just 2 or 3 infusions compared to 1 or 2 Western style for 3 minutes I want the most amount of nutrition and strength in the tea Obviously there's more in the one where you use 3 times more leaves but I don't want to take the time to do this is there a hybrid way where you could brew a minute to a minute too a 1/2 with high leaves

Because our teas are harvested early in the season, they contain minimal bitterness and tannins. While we always recommend gongfu cha as our brewing method of choice, you can just as easily brew the tea leaves in something like our travel thermos: redblossomtea.com/products/double-walled-thermos
This allows you to leave the tea in the water without having to decant. After drinking, simply top up with water and repeat until the leaves run out of flavor.
