Another interesting video Boots McTee. I was intrigued by the accidental death of Isaac Quaintance whose grave is shown in your video. It appears he was a gardener and sadly he fell 20 feet from a tree whilst lopping branches.

Would be nice to see the war graves cleaned up a bit....I loved the masons work on some of the other headstones. Thank you Mr Boots! Deb of Oz.

I used to visit Lympstone a lot in the early 1960's, when Darling Rock in the harbour was a lot bigger than it is now, My friend Gary (Franks) and his parents visited his mother's relatives at that time. His Mum was a Norton and her sister was married to Leonard Challis. Leonard and Ivy Challis had two children - Marcel and Angela. Gary's father - Herbert Franks was from Withycombe Raleigh in Exmouth. I loved it down there. Beautiful place. The Challises lived at Highgrove (now built upon) and later up near the Sadler's Arms . In those days, the railway station was a proper station and I think the village football team played up on the Cliff Field.

On Wednesday we release a walk from Budleigh to Lympstone so there will be some images of that place in that one.
