The summer bundle looks great for little ones ! Yes I love keeping Bible and Math going through the summer ! I still think its odd that you sit on your marriage bed to communicate with us . Campground kids is a book series where kids go to different national parks. It's very cute and the kids go on fun adventures. Your older kiddos might think it's boring but my middle school kids enjoy listening to it. Have a happy and healthy summer!

Wahoo for Jiu Jitsu🎉 my daughter has been in it for almost 4 years and gained so much confidence. aShe started competing little over a year ago to for the gym 🤗 So many great lessons to be learned in the gym. I love that she knows how to defend herself in this crazy world. Now if I could only get myself into it! Learn by proxy 🤣

Hi! Could you please make a video with recommendations, in your experience, as to what subjects should be done daily vs weekly?
Yes! We’re one day away from our summer break! I plan on continuing Bible, reading and math with my kiddo but we will only be dedicating sit down time once a week just to upkeep the skills he’s already mastered. Other than that, we will be hanging out and enjoying the freedom that comes with summer!
Our summer schedule includes reading aloud, reading silently, a game each day, practicing their instruments, and building something each day. That is how they earn screen time. We also RV, and did mount Rushmore last year. There is a neat fish hatchery in spear fish if you're going that route. We also loved the history in Deadwood. That was so much fun. Oh and devils tower was on our way home too. Great things to see in that corner of the US. This year we are doing an American revolution/American history trip for six weeks. Summer is such a fun time to keep learning 😊. Thanks for the reminder about the summer bucket list.
We will be relaxing from Memorial Day Weekend til July 10th, except we will continue math and more intent reading of sorts. No plans yet to travel due to hubby going out of town but we will see! Safe travels for you all and I hope it is a wonderful summer break.
Woo hoo for Jiu Jitsu. 🎉My kiddos all started it at age 3! I love that it equips them to protect themselves and even others that may not be able to if the need arises. Not to mention it keeps them so active and fit.

A fun little stop on the way to Mount Rushmore was Carhenge… like Stonehenge but made with cars. My kids got a kick out of it a few summers ago.
we're pulling my daughter out and we're using this summer to deschool her and get her comfortable and used to homeschooling vs. Public school. I was goin gto school year round but we decided against it.

It goes without saying that you’ll love Hawaii, lol, but you’ll love South Dakota too. We didn’t realize that there were many free things for kids like dinosaur museums, etc., so be sure to google those opportunities before you go. I sure wish we had set aside more time in SD to do those things. Have fun! Oh yeah, there’s also a great cave system right there at Mt. Rushmore so definitely do that. ❤

It might be fun to ask them at the end of the “summer year “ the differences between the gospels since they’re so close in content , but see if they can pick out the different perspectives ??!! Just a thought , might be fun lol.
