Honestly I love this stage (despite being on chapter 30 of SoL..). They actually made it a bit of a challenge. Having filibuster basically have full range over the map meaning you HAVE to pin him to the base before the relic duche comes out? The fact one single attack wipes out all your cats? The strong behemoths guarding him at all times? Bravo Ponos, IMO much better fight than the relic bunbun fight at the start of UL
i played this for a year and i reset cuz im bored and i do not have my ubers now i had no probrem with r ost but he is shit now cuz i dont have a fest uber also ya gonna suffer if you aint lucky
If filibuster had global range then the level would have been so much cooler imo because he is actually threatening and it’s not just the other enemy’s blocking him
Filibuster having non global range was definitely an intentional choice. Without it all strategy would be removed the only way to win would be spamming high dps anti behemoth ubers.
Thats stage was absolute nightmare, i didnt had mushroom cat or any of the ul tfs, it took more than 200 tries, until i eventualy lucked out with balrog, doron and idi
I actually managed to have cumulus approach me with the relic duck on the field and still not lose, although barely. And no, it wasn't because filibuster was too far from my base to kill me, I just barely managed to kill them and get to filibuster in time.
I know that this unit came out after you made the video, but I feel like it's worth mentioning that phono does... ok here. He doesn't carry super hard, but he can be a life saver. The main problem is that while he does have far ld pierce, it's not quite far enough to consistently interrupt fili's attacks. The other problem is the enemies here push hard, and his hp is a bit fragile, especially when considering how stupidly high behemoth stats are. But so long as you keep him protected well, he can provide some very good back range support with his high dps to traited.
Managed to pin fillabuster to the base and used breakblast instead to just blow the gory and duck back so Naala could stay hitting FB. Probably didn't hurt to have a level 94 ramen as a meat shield.
The new setup is that filbuster now starts in the middle of the screen instead of going all the way into the base. This makes trying to reach filbuster even more difficult
I'd say mechabun is a worse legend unit as a whole, at least filibuster is a secondary support unit that gives good results, mechabun is not only bad at the point you get him even within his limited targeting, but gets out classed by Idl, Yulala TF, and even Naala.
Mecha-Bun isn't too bad For Yulala TF you need to complete Infernal Tower floor 40, where you need BOOSTED cats For Idi and Naala is same, because you must complete all SoL in 4 stars and Inmortal Zenith respectively. To reach Naala you must beat Primitive Souls by the way, it's almost impossible have units too BOOSTED that can beat IT floor 40 (so you can't get Yulala TF), if you are patient you can complete all 4 stars SoL and reach to Idi, but is the same problem (You need BOOSTED cats), so against Dogumaru you can use Mecha-Bun TF as a great alternative if you doesn't have BOOSTED rares and super rares (which is normal in that point)
There are 3 steps to beat this stage. 1. Bring the iron wall cat cannon. 2. Bring ramen cat. ( and spam it out at all times.) 3. (Optional) bring rich cat.
I one time used Lasvoss reborn on my first attempt at the stage, it two shot Filibuster. I nearly died of laughter. Everybody said this stage was hard.

I really appreciate that the game gives you all the required pieces to complete this stage (Naala and Luza). Without them it would be an unfair gacha luck check.

I but I had some baller cats to get me through it, but mainly one cause of one cat in particular M eraser 50 Ramen 68 Can can lvl 58 Green shell 45 Courier 45 Bullet train 47 Darkatanyan 50 Idi 35 (only recently beat 4 star sol cause lazy) Awakened Naala 40 LASVOSS REBORN 50 who absolutely saved me with a 1 million nuke on the f*cking duck and rajakong giving me enough time to reset filibuster with b train who was seconds from killing me.

@Electrical lasvoss reborn saved my ass so hard on this stage by nuking the fucking duck and rajakong. Lasvoss reborn also carries hard on floor 47. A 1/3 chance happens more often than you would think.

While yes, all ubers have their own usages, BC ranking (for the most part) is based on how good that usage is. If you don't want to see a nerd make an essay on a cat game, stop here A good example is Nurse vs Yamii. Nurse, while it has pretty good stats, it's ability is redundant and if you're just going to use it for damage, might as well just use Ururun since it's stat are just better and it is free. While Yamii (TF), although its stats are worse than Nurse (besides HP), it's usage as a ranged wave block is extremely valuable, considering the only other units that have that niche are Colab Ubers and Spooky Neneko. Another (and probably better) example is Cat Machine, Jizo, and Balrog (more specifically, the Fall of Cat Machine and Jizo, as well as the Rise of Balrog). Cat Machine used to be respected as an extremely good Uber thanks to it being the only unit to have Wave Blocker at the time. But after octo cat was released, it was completely outclass (Octo being cheaper, spammable, and easier to get) and was left in the dust. And Jizo, it used to be praised as the best uber in the game, but then people realized that units like Cameraman and Cyborg do just fine and are easier to obtain, and after a change in meta from spammy peons stages to simpler boss stages, Jizo became less valuable (also Courier completely outclassing it but we don't talk about Courier), still very good, but definitely as people thought it was. Speaking of meta change, that is also why Balrog rose a lot in viability. Most SoL stages had lots of peons in it and Balrog would struggle because of single target, but after stages in UL became more boss stages with fewer peons, Balrog went from not being used much to being one of the most used Ubers in the game, with not really any units that fills it's role. While you could argue Can Can outclasses Balrog, Balrog is more of a DPS machine and Can Can is more of a spammable mini nuke. Plus Balrog is still better than Can Can in quite a few stages, especially Heavenly Tower.

In battle dogs (battle cats mod) metafilibuster is a legend rare and i got him very easily with like 3 rare capsules.... 3 TIMES...but not in a row.. HOW LUCKY WAS I?! 100% LUCK?! Edit: i did not get them all in one row
Because its starting range is extremely far(however, its blindspot is low. And if no cats presented. It will walk forward until it is at lowest blindspot, then charging at base)

Honestly, the coolest part about filibuster is that the time it takes for his theme to loop is exactly how long a single attack takes (40 seconds.)

Remember that basically all of Chillhola's units are probably more than level 50. That's why he was able to do it quite easily in the first place.
