Do you think using the youtube chapters feature (the little load bar captions) is a good way to get out epilepsy warnings? I used to put a title card but but one; that's more work (not a lot, I can easily go back to doing it), and two, I feel it disrupts the flow a bit and I'm almost certain I've given out false positives before, as it turns out epileptic triggers are a lot more complex then I gave them credit for! So, yeah, if there's anyone with epilepsy out there reading this, let me know!
ive personally never gotten the event to happen. its so much more nervewracking than a text description gives it credit for, geez. also, from what i recall, that event was briefly removed in its entirety at some point.
You might be goofin here, but Yes! Very much so. Super large, easily the most content out of any fangame, but does suffer a bit in theming and plot as a result, though if my results with 2kki are any indication most people don't mind.
@@metachirality You're not wrong, but I do think 2kki doesn't really tell a coherent plot that you can theorize about in total, at least not what Yume Nikki already did, which is my issue! There's not really a coherent story, in the game, in total, about Urotsuki, in the same way that .flow is a game about Sabitsuki, with a central plot point (sabitsuki's illness and the ultimate consequences of that, and everything that implies) and attempt at narrative. I don't think it's a bad model by any stretch of the imagination, it's made loads of content for instance, but Urotsuki is inherently a fragmented character because of all of the devs acting on her. Which, honestly? Could be a plot thread! Maybe they'll do that someday.

I think u should put it in description. And I feel most people who play this game know there's freaky visual effects
Arguably the 'scariest' event in the game. Some of the other events in the game are scary but this one just keeps you on edge for a while.

yeah I was kind've expecting to get spooked but it got me pretty good even so, hoho
since you can use the bat effect to interact with that npc in the city limits, i think they should make it lead somewhere
I think it'd be neat if it did something special, anyway! I feel like a lot of people forget about the bat effect in general, though, hoho
