Once an order is placed, the items are shipped out directly from the warehouse. That's why a return product is stored back in the warehouse. It doesn't go to the seller.
@fincorp222 no, Amazon never buy the products from seller, they just keep the product in their warehouse, and if the product is returned by the buyer it goes back to the seller and not to Amazon
