I honestly think the reason I was obsessed with the first movie and came back for the second was because of those "beautiful sparkly baby-blue eyes"! Hehe! But yeah, when the movie started off with this scene and this incredible song, I knew Sea of Monsters would NOT disappoint! :)

When I heard Fall Out Boy in the backround, I knew this was the best/greatest movie EVER.
i havnt watched the movie, just because I already read the book and I know I'm gonna hate the movie considering that its so inaccurate. but I have to admit, this scene looks freakin awesome. the backflip percy did was EPIC!

Kim De Vries I hate o tell you this, but you might, just might hate the movie if you read the book..... they messed up on the movie SO badly.... it just makes me want to punch the script writer and the director....

As badass as this scene was, if Percy just grabbed the ring, the spinning would have stopped and the guy stuck on the ladder would have been fine, also anyone notice they only spent about five minutes in the sea of monsters, I mean; the movie is called 'Percy Jackson: sea of monsters' so you'd think there would be more than one monster in the five minutes of sea, other than that; great movie.
Percy had bad logic for a few seconds
the books are lot better and they spend a lot more time in the sea of monsters

wolfclaw719 The movies usually skip the best parts, like in The Sea of Monsters movie they don't include the dodge ball part from the book which was probably my favorite part.

Having read all the books l I was not a fan of this movie. But, seeing this scene on the huge theatre screen was awesome. Especially the way they laid out to show the ground level of the arena and all the campers in the stands. Felt like I was right there.

That's the perfect way of describing it. I felt so pumped after watching it too. With the epic song "Light Em Up" playing in the background and two of my favorite people Levin Rambin and Logan Lerman battling it out on a cool obstacle course with Logan looking oh so sexy doing flips. You just can't ask for anything better than that. ;)

I saw it on the day it came out as well. I was a bit woried at first that it wouldn't be as good as the book or the first film but it was really great! cant wait until the titan's curse is made!

You're welcome! I actually incorporated the song into the clip myself because this scene from the movie is so epic and it's made better with Fallout Boy's song. You just can't have this scene without the song and it's funny every time I hear this song now, I think of Logan being sexy doing flips on an obstacle course..lol.

I saw it the day is came out and I loved it. I loved how they added the new characters of Tyson and Clarisse in this one and of course Mr. D, Thalia and Hermes. It was also fun and adventurous. It still wasn't perfect but it's moving in the right direction. I hope we get the third one The Titan's Curse because if they do it right, the third one may be the charm. ;)
Hahaha...I totally agree. It's Percy's fatal flaw(in the books):Excessive Personal Loyalty. To me, it's what makes him even more attractive and heroic. That, and being played by the ever gorgeous Logan Lerman, helps...lol.
You're so welcome! It's not the same without the song like it was in the movies itself so I added the music in by some persistent cutting/dubbing the song to make it flow smoothly with the scenes. Much better now with the music, if I do say so myself. ;)

It took a lot editing of the song(cutting & dubbing it in the right places) to get the song to fit in right because obviously this isn't the entire scene that's in the movie as some scenes are cut in this clip, but with persistence it came out pretty good. Yep, his fatal flaw is excessive loyalty to everyone to the point where he would risk his own life to help them. In my opinion, I wouldn't consider that a flaw, I would consider it another beautiful trait Percy possesses. :)

This was the one clip from the movie that I thought was pretty cool. (Even though it wasn't from the book)
I know it isn't the full scene. This is the only clip that's been released publicly by 20th Century Fox and they chose to cut/edit it for time purposes. Unless someone pirates the movie at the theater and makes a copy, this is the only clip of the movie that's available.

If you had read my description, you would have seen that I wrote the entire name of the song there. The name is too long to put in the title of the video. I kept getting an error that there were too many words in the title so I had to put just "Light Em Up" I'm sure that's what happened to others too so don't judge before you read the description as well.
