It’s definitely valuable and depending on your life stage can be important. But the constant hustle, grifting, and grinding I think starts to feel empty at some stage.
Somehow I really can not see us making it another 30 years, and the financial system, as things stand. Something is going to give, and either way it is probably going to render retirement as we understand it completely irrelevant (for better or worse).
