I use canon 7d mark2 and i have one more metering option in my camera and that is "Partial metering".I want to know about that metering function.please give me informations about this function.
+joydeep bhattacharjee partial metering basically covers a bit larger area than the spot metering and a bit smaller area than center weighted metering modes.

Yes, only center. Nikon spot metering works on any point which you select in the frame.
