    it doesn't matter how old something is, if its a good song and perfomance that is all that matters, that is what makes it timeless! And this was a great perfromance!!! Great song.

    Great Harmony. I remember watching this back during the Holidays in 1999. I taped it, I so enjoy great acting and singing. Smokey Joe's Cafe was also great. Thanks for posting this enjoyable piece.

    Wow. Never seen this one! These two are so beautiful! Great job too! I always wonder how Broadway actors can get up and sing outside on the Today show so early! Lol!

    I love Linda Eder but I also love Luba Mason and wish people would stop comparing her to Linda. She sings it in her own style and it's beautiful. I love when replacements bring something new to a role. Also, they made the wig match Luba's own hair color as they made Linda's wig match her hair color. Luba was the first replacement. After this everyone else who played Lucy wore a wig the color of Linda's hair. That is just personal preference. It doesn't bother me either way. And that flub was on the musicians that rushed.

    There voices sound like women! Finally! A video where the singers don't sound like little girls. A womans voice is WAY better than a little girl's voice. Beautiful. :)

    @JeanVe
    She would look stunning, but don't you think that they look quite similar? Quite an interesting statement about jekyll and hyde. But i do agree that I would prefer a darker Lucy. But then, I do freaking LOVE linda eder...

    LINDA EDER & CHRISTINE ANDREAS OWN THIS SONG! ESP LINDA. IT was written for Linda for chissakes. It's an incredible song so any two Broadway hacks can do a decent job of it, but I agree w/ xEtchiSketchx Leave the song alone, you're gonna murder it!

      Peter D. Christiane Noll was the original Emma, not Christine Andreas.

    Great performance, but I prefer a dark Lucy! And this singer would look stunning with a brown wig!

    @barzeeutube Ok, I'm just making sure you weren't being rushed! haha! You both sang fabulously here and it would've been a shame if the prettiness was rushed. XD

    omg....ok...the singers were good...BUT THE MUSICIANS WERE RUSHING LIKE HELL! damn!

      Did you hear it..? I still haven’t forgiven her Aida 😳👀
      Still, Constantine proved to be an interesting choice. In my Linda Eder compilation video, I included the cutest impromptu/on-the-spot improvisation of *Dangerous Game* between Constantine & Linda (the revival songs are mostly *very* different styles than Frank Wildhorn’s compositions - but he holds his own & then some with Linda 😝) - it’s pretty amazing; not to mention educational 🖤

      @@NathanDiehl news to me; was this like, for a week? I was involved with this show- to the best of my knowledge Colleen Sexton (uggghhhhh) replaced Linda & hung on for dear life; even earning herself a set of breast implants compliments of 🤢 Hasselhoff … make of that what you will 😏
      Andrea Rivette was by the far the most competent replacements from opening to closing night.
