I made a few of those foils (with a lot of luck), you can go for just 2 extra copies and get the chance down to 1/9, I was also paranoid about corrupting them so I wanted 30 quality. I hit 5 perfect so far, if the duds have the prefixes and the AS they cover the cost of the craft quite easly. My brother on the other hand, not so lucky he got 1/12 and most of the duds where proper duds.
All his graveyard setups arent really optimized perfectly. I think he prefers the simplicity of putting all add item in one corner. His setups are 94.25 power, the optimal one is 99.4. So he is effectively missing 4 entire corpses, which is A LOT but its more chill to set up. Id imagine you could get the odds even better than 1/9

You have to realize that yes the success rate is 1 in 12 grave yards but that not counting for your added crafts. So if you drop 5 then that's 5 outta 12 rolls. Almost a 1/2 chance.
For the power, i think the tedium and time invested is probably appropriate. That doesn't, however, excuse the absolute dumpster of a user interface they made for it.
