You don't have to have been in the military to know this feeling! I still remember that feeling as a kid when my dad would come to inspect my room. And yes, he would come to inspect my room. My room would be closed and I could hear the thud of his footsteps coming up the stairs and my heart would just be pounding. Great story Roscoe! I giggled and laughed out loud multiple times throughout.
