    I just tried the alternating under and over technique, and no twisted yarn!! 😊

    Does this affect color dominance

      I haven't had a problem with this method affecting color dominance. The key to remember is that you should always be consistent about which yarn you hold in front or in the back as you switch colors. You can see in the video (2:45) when I flip over the work that I have done this, and it looks great.
