The Panamera delivers a confident answer to a surprising question only Porsche could ask: Can we build a four-door luxury sedan that can keep up with a 911? The first-generation Panamera answered that question in the affirmative, and the 2017 Panamera debuts with the goal of improving the car’s looks from the driver’s seat of a car being overtaken. The new car does look fine from behind, and it has even more brutal power and speed than its predecessor.
The new Panamera gets one of three gas engines: a turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 330 hp, a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 462 hp, or a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 550 hp. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid adds a 136-hp electric motor and a battery pack to the larger V8, giving that car an incredible 680 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard for every trim above the S. Read more on CarGurus.com: cargur.us/jXKDw

I thought my next Porsche would be the 2014 Panamera, I think ill wait for the 2017 model!
Neat test drive review! I am really liking the updated design of this 4-door, especially from the rear. The interior still appears to be pretty button happy, but at least Porsche integrated everything very well. From one car enthusiast to another, keep it up! 👍🏽
Love the use of charts
Looks good
The new Mercedes s63amg? I know the Mercedes resale value sucks after some years, but both cars spec-ed around the same money, I don't know which to choose
First one was beautiful
Why does every Porsche press car have this license plate?
wrong title.. that’s not 2017
0-60 3 seconds flat? no.
0:13 It is indeed the fastest luxury sedan. It holds the reccord on the Nordschleife for sedans.Furthermore it takes about 3.6 seconds to 60 and not 3 flat...
I don't know maybe you should check some facts before posting it on youtube!
Hey DrMaxRusher, we based "fastest" solely upon max top speed, which is topped by the Aston Martin Rapide at 203 mph. Although you have correctly identified that Porsche reports 0-60 for the Panamera Turbo at 3.6 seconds, our reviewer Cliff has found that manufacturers, such as Porsche, tend to release conservative estimates that do not communicate the true ability of their vehicles. Because of this we used Car and Driver's estimate of 3.0 seconds - www.caranddriver.com/porsche/panamera-turbo-turbo-s. Regardless of the numbers, the Panamera Turbo is undoubtedly FAST and is a blast to drive.
I always thought of this car as being a he-man's car...until this review.
golfbuddy1969 what do you mean?
5:47 I have a Porsche Panamera and I smoke cigars in it -- if my car doesn't give me (the luxury to ruin it) then it's not worth buying.
0-60 is not 3 seconds flat. lol
Hey mainlymusicman, we based that number on Car and Driver's estimate (www.caranddriver.com/porsche/panamera-turbo-turbo-s), not the number released by Porsche, which is 3.6 seconds. Cliff has found manufacturer estimates to be consistently conservative and not a true representation of a car's ability.
You could mention that those air vents can ONLY be operated by the touch screen and there's like half a second delay which is pretty annoying. There are a lot more annoying things you never mentioned either. Why bother to do a review when you are only going to mention the positives ?
Why do you put music over the sound of the car? What a silly review
I actually prefer the precedent model. The rear of this model looks like a Dodge.
