@@catrinakimber3579 Thank you. That is a verse of a song from the '70. Three Dog Night was the name of the group..."Black and White" very good song and very good pop group.
I am black man from Eritrea (Pastor) and dating an Afrikaans girl, its going ups and downs. The social stigma especially from the Afrikaans side, is taking toll on us and plus some of our differences in values and culture. But we pray that God will give us grace to carry on, live for His glory and make it together to the end of its fruition.
Eritrean women are some of the most beautiful women in Africa. Respectfully bro, find yourself one, and live a happy life. Having to deal with bigots for who knows how long seems not ideal. Anyway, Best of luck.
As an Eritrean born and living in Germany I struggle to understand why native Africans are stigmatised on their continental ground by descendants of immigrants. I couldn't and wouldn't it to a native German. I'm equal and yet it requires to show respect to the culture on site.
This has really opened my eyes, growing up in the Uk where it is completely normal to see couples from many different cultures I am shocked by the difficulty’s you have both faced . But this is by far the most beautiful story I have ever heard ❤❤ so much wisdom in your hearts , I hope you have the best future together
This beautiful, thoughtful, respectful and mature couple are an example to all others. My advice to them is …. A perfect marriage and a perfect couple does not exist, do not search for it. Just continue to do your best for each other and your children (as you already are doing). Do not look for external validation, or for comparison. You can only find that within and between the two of you. Love is not a romantic thing, it is a concerted, determined, gritty effort that you will stand by someone, you will be their rock in the face of any opposition or obstacle . It is dedication and loyalty, not romance and rainbows, contrary to the Hollywood mirage. And your very existence is proof that anything can be accomplished if there is love.
I love the honesty ❤ As a black African women I appreciate how my brother articulated the emotional scars black men have as a result of Apartheid. Our men need this kind of honest and open conversations... Even men (black) married to black women grabble with some of these issues...

The history of South Africa makes interracial marriage more challenging. European ladies intermarried in other African countries are unlikely to see their husband struggle with self esteem issues.
Sadly, it often goes the other way.. Many well-meaning European women who married African men, ended up rejected and disrespected by his family ... even financially exploited, finally tossed aside, while he got himself 'the real wife' from his own tribe... very different from what we are seeing here.

We still have a long way to go in terms of addressing racial inequality not only from an economic perspective, but from a psychological perspective too. Religion and faith is very important to both Nhlanhla and Marne and appears to be the key ingredient to keeping things in place. Glad they're able to find commonality and use it to their advantage. Congratulations to you guys. If God wants to bring people together no one can stop him. He is our only hope to our life. In God's eye there is no black or white.. There's no color to him we all his creation. Wish you all the best in your life.
More blessings to you guys. There's a lot of love getting lost in the way because of how races view each other. It is hard to love someone and knowing you'll never be enough because of the color of your skin.
Wow!! this now makes me understand the black South-Aftican psyche. In the rest of Africa, we don't feel that way: when I get a woman, no matter her colour, I still feel like a man. Heck, I've been in China, where I was the only black man in a village and I still felt like a man (so is it with many other Africans I've met there). South Africa needs to heal.
If you put Christ first ,he will make a way for and you will be victors. You guys a re blessed with wisdom and love no one cant take it away from you. Love you guys ,may the lord continue strengthening you.💪💪💪💪

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this at all it's what's in a person's heart not the colour of their skin love is a very beautiful thing immaterial of colour or religion😍♥️😍
@@brucepower3429 The colour of a person's skin or race does not matter count or come into it if two people genuinely have feelings for and love each other and want to be together we are all human and cannot help who we fall in love with 😍❤️😍
Ke a lerata guys. I watch this so many times. I don't see race but love. I learn what marriage is as wedding is just an event. Mostly, I see God in this marriage. May God bless you and may He keep you till you are grannies so the generation to come will learn from you.
My grandparents from my mother are a couple of different races and different religions. They got married in the midst of environmental conditions during which Indonesia was colonized by the Dutch. My grandfather is Indonesian-Arabic-Muslim & my grandmother is Dutch-Catholic. Their marriage resulted in my grandfather being given the sanction of being buried alive by his family. but fortunately my grandfather managed to save himself and moved to another city with my grandmother. Their marriage produced 5 children. My mother is the 5th child. Early journey Their family's life was faced with a tough challenge because at that time Japan colonized Indonesia, & Grandparents' families were forced to work as slaves by the Japanese invaders without being paid. After Indonesia became independent. the existence of their relationship as husband and wife is still considered strange by the Indonesian people, my grandfather is considered a traitor for marrying a colonial nation. My grandmother was seen as a fool for marrying a slave nation. But they managed to keep their love until the end of their life. & the descendants of their extended family can live in harmony, whatever the differences
@marthasheilds2446 And I'm here to reinforce that human trait! Africans belong with Africans. Africans marrying non-Africans MUST be banned inside ALL African nations!
@DrUmarJohnson1 Wow I feel honoured to receive a comment from the motivation man himself 🙂. Keep up the good work my brother 👏 and yes PEACE, SPIRITUALITY, PAN-AFRICANISM AND MOST OF ALL UNITY.
Love you so much guys, I thank God for your relationship and telling you true side of your story and I believe it will open many people's minds and have a great impact to this generation. Be strong and put your trust in the Lord, you are surely going to accomplish God's purpose. Forward ever and backwards never. All the glory belongs to our God . ❤
It takes bravery to be in a mixed Relationshiop especially Black and white, People fantasised about how their love and the sex will be like you know. May God guide this couple because in a Racial South Africa they will face loads of stare and commentaries.
I see the joy (not happiness) Joy! but also the pain and I get both their views, i have two suggestions for them if i may 1, its a false narrative that in marriage its two families coming together this misconception is actually a big problem in marriages and society at large. its actually 3 families that are separate families and have to coexist. my fam, my wifes fam and MY FAM. this families are 3 dif families and they have to operate parallel. you cant get either fam too involved cause the lines become blurred, and humans have this capacity and habit of holding something against you, if i tell my fam about an issue or problem about my wife they might give an honest opinion or suggestion but they might hold it against her in the future with out an intention at times, its even better to discuss this with total strangers or someone that doesn't even know your wife. the respect that they give your partner is based mostly on what you tell them (and they wont forget it) and how u treat her, they will treat her the same way, so i really believe in 3 families not two families coming together, that's why the bible says a man shall leave his mother and father... not leave to stay, u must literally leave and start your own fam and start your own way of life. 2, please please please remove the idea of race in your family and lives in general, there is no such thing as a black or white person, they just simply do not exist, this is an IDEA created by a play writer in the 1600 where in the play an African king called a European commoner a white man, (remember this was just a play) and the idea of identifying race was born. what is interesting is that this idea is fairly new, i know the play was written in 1600 but that's recent history. in ancient history there's no where in reference to literature where ppl are referred to as white or black. not in the Bible, not in the Quran, not in the first books in the world from china and india now where does it refer to anyone by colour. in the bible they always referred someone by where they are from not by race, black is a colour not a person, white is a colour not a race. someone sold us an idea and we ALL bought it' and it has caused so much pain in t he world and we still feed it to this day. but i like that you have a championship mentality , God bless
MR. AND MRS. HLONGWANE!!I APPRECIATE THE SHARING OF HOW YOU MET AND YOUR MARRIAGE JOURNEY. NHLANHLA; YOU'VE FOUND YOURSELF A GOOD WIFE AND SHE'S SO SWEET WHEN ADDRESSING YOUR CHILDREN... IT WAS WORTH WATCHING AND IT'S EDUCATIONAL AS WELL!!! THANK YOU ALL. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN YOUR FAMILY LIFE!!!! //WARM REGARDS FROM SWEDEN
I also understand about inferiority. The Afrikaans community is very difficult to live within as a black person. They are stuck in their ways and a lot believe blacks are inferior. So, when you have to come into every room and be seen by even the one who finds you most dear the same way, gets tiring. I puffed my chest up and I became a larger and "louder" in presence version of myself who rolled with the punches. And, it is very difficult to keep it up. Some people like you and some don't.
What an absolutely beautiful couple. God definitely brought you two together. People who judge and hate will have to answer to the Almighty, our Holy Father one day. Nhlanhla & Marne you are the light and the conquers.' The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. God Bless you both and your children. Nhlanhla, you are a true gentleman and Marne you are so beautiful and what a smile!! Keep smiling laughing and enjoy life. You can be with whomever you choose-😊 Come live in the UK!!!
I can so emphathise with the 2 of you. I met my husband 30 yrs ago and we are married for 28 yrs, we have a beautiful adult son. We come from totally different cultutes and religious backgrounds from different countries, I'm fair skin and he dark skin but respect, understanding and a give and take which is the composition of love, will conquer all. Just stay strong. Challenges is part and parcel of life but I can see that your faith will get you through it. Sterkte vorentoe ♥️
It’s eye opening to hear. I am a lucky dude, here in Washington state interracial marriage is common and biracial kids are even more than blacks in number.
I just want to say keep the faith guys. I'm coloured and so is my wife, and there are times when I have to make a point of letting her know that I'm the head of the house because I'm carrying most of the responsibilities. We resontly had a thing about her father who wanted to say in my house. Sometimes she makes me feel like I'm the help. If she was white I would have blamed her better-than attitude on her race, when it was just a bad attitude. Secondly, her family gets more of our time. Seeing her parents almost every day. Think Megan Trainer and the bible called it. I'm cheering for you and your beautiful family.
I watched both parts of this video. Thank you so much for letting us in on your interesting lives. May God bless your marriage and your children and that you become fulfilled until your old age. You are lucky you only had to deal with different races. Imagine having to deal with different religions sects or say one of you was not a Christian yet you still were attracted to get married How accommodating are your parents Marné?How are they with your children? Your husband is a Zulu. Are you of Ditch decent? The name Marné sounds Dutch and seems common in Cape Town.
Your story is amazing. Love conquers all things. God is love and where love is, He is there. He has and will carry you, no problem to big that He cannot solve. I pray that God will go before you and remove all the hindrances and obstacles that stop God's plan and purpose for your lives. It won't be easy at times, but you can by the power given to you by God and have already paved the way for future generations. May God bless you as you journey together, showing the world that love has no colour.
Dear God Loving couples After my morning prayer ,i came across your video (since every Thursday i pray for families).I was in tears listening to your story.Nhlanhla you are the head in your Family, love your wife as Christ love the church..Morne submit but not be inferior. You spoke of your leaders not approving your relationship and you had to choose Ministry or her, that leader need deliverence. I want to visit Africa soon and who knows we could have dinner or breakfast or lunch for all I care. God bless you and enriched your lives together. Please stay in touch.
He is very sensitive with the culture and family topics. I understand where he is coming from. However, learn to let your wife speak her mind even if it will embarrass you or cause friction with your family, friends or unsettle your societal norms. I’m an African married to a white lady and I use to be scared whenever my wife speaks her mind among my people then I realized I needed to grow and let her be. How other people hear her is not for you to determine. She is an soul and very aware of the enormity of the situation. Sit back and let her be and you’ll be as well. It’s okay the universe has way to teach others.
I am from mixed race couple, my mother is a black woman and my paternal grand father was Irish and his wife was black. We originally lived in Soweto, but my Dad and us children were not accepted there. We were called Boesmans which is a deragatory word. It was very difficult, we eventually moved to Kliptown. My mum had a very short fused and physically fought with people if they did that. My maternal grandmother advised my parents to move us. We experienced a better life living amongst people who looked like us and the community accepted my mum and loved her so much. That was the turning point where my life changed for the better. So racism is alive and well, whether you are black or white. I personally experienced it. I am happy because I learned to communicate in different languages, people are always amazed at the number of languages I speak. I am South African.
SA. Slowly but surely. We are on our good way. There are good things coming. Good days are coming. Greetings from Germany. GOOD LUCK .❤ Omnia vincit Amour. Love Concor everything
Well done guys... really appreciated this... I pray that u grow together from strength to strength as a loving family together..... in Jesus Name.... keep the faith all things are possible.... 🙌🙌🙏
I am so happy for you guys because I can see that you love each other which is very important in marriage. Marriage is not easy regardless of whether it is a multiracial marriage or not never allow a third party in your marriage, if you do the marriage won't survive. May the grace of God be upon you and your children.
I think this was very "healing" for this couple. That was a mountain load. I am married to an German gent, and as a "coloured" person I never felt inferior -probably cause he comes from a total different background. As a SA born I totally can identify with this amazing couple. Stay blessed and hey you are a amazing family.
Love you guys think about moving to Canada . As a black man who has dated out of my race i can tell you you will not get half the pain you are getting there. God bless

May God Almighty continue to guide, protect, provide and bless you and your children. Believe me things are going to get easier as time goes on in the name of the most high.
There's hope for humanity. Love never fails🙏🏽

You are an inspiration. An Encouragement in faith. 'God actually will answer your prayer', as Marne says
Wow love is truly blind. I'm extremely humbled listening to this beautiful couples journey. May the lord continue to strengthen their support & love for each other. Great story!!
They truly love each other.
Look at the body language.
Look at the way they look at each other...I love it.
Congratulations to you guys. If God wants to bring people together no one can stop him. He is our only hope to our life. In God's eye there is no black or white.. There's no color to him we all his creation. Wish you all the best in your life.
😂😂😂😂😂
Love you guys ,may the lord continue strengthening you.💪💪💪💪
It's the balance for me, true love, faith and commitment both ways. A beautiful couple who are respectful of each other. May God bless your marriage, from Jamaica!
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this at all it's what's in a person's heart not the colour of their skin love is a very beautiful thing immaterial of colour or religion😍♥️😍
Color of the skin will always count.
@@brucepower3429 The colour of a person's skin or race does not matter count or come into it if two people genuinely have feelings for and love each other and want to be together we are all human and cannot help who we fall in love with 😍❤️😍
Well done both of you! Long may you continue to grow together. God Bless you!
Inspiring story. It shows that love knows no boundaries nor limitations.
I love your background simply interesting.
Amazing story, thank you for sharing
I love you guys.... You inspired me to go for what I want, what is immersed deep in me. God bless you...
The key thing is to ensure that you don't let prejudices from any angle creep into your personal spaces.
@martha sheilds Exactly, that's why there will never be peace because of the attitude of some humans.
@martha sheilds I agree 💯% it's less complicated too. I have my preference to stick to my own kind. I love me some Chocolate lol.
@marthasheilds2446 And I'm here to reinforce that human trait! Africans belong with Africans. Africans marrying non-Africans MUST be banned inside ALL African nations!
@@africangodman6145 Peace and Pan-Africanism
It takes bravery to be in a mixed Relationshiop especially Black and white,
People fantasised about how their love and the sex will be like you know.
May God guide this couple because in a Racial South Africa they will face loads of stare and commentaries.
They were ment to be together ❤️ God is love ❤️ my blessings n love to both of you ❤️ n long live sweethearts 💞❤💞❤
You are both wonderful people, a gift to us
I see the joy (not happiness) Joy! but also the pain and I get both their views, i have two suggestions for them if i may
1, its a false narrative that in marriage its two families coming together this misconception is actually a big problem in marriages and society at large. its actually 3 families that are separate families and have to coexist. my fam, my wifes fam and MY FAM. this families are 3 dif families and they have to operate parallel. you cant get either fam too involved cause the lines become blurred, and humans have this capacity and habit of holding something against you, if i tell my fam about an issue or problem about my wife they might give an honest opinion or suggestion but they might hold it against her in the future with out an intention at times, its even better to discuss this with total strangers or someone that doesn't even know your wife. the respect that they give your partner is based mostly on what you tell them (and they wont forget it) and how u treat her, they will treat her the same way, so i really believe in 3 families not two families coming together, that's why the bible says a man shall leave his mother and father... not leave to stay, u must literally leave and start your own fam and start your own way of life.
I loved the honesty of their answers
Marriage is a hard hard gig. Im happy u pulling the strings in a positive way!
You guys are such a very beautiful couple. Yes people can be so cruel. You guys were meant for each other!!! Stay strong guys! We are with you!

I am glad the revolving around racial discrimination in marriage is growing everyday. lovely couple
Wonderful, brilliant couple. All the best and God bless.💝💙💜
Dear God Loving couples
After my morning prayer ,i came across your video (since every Thursday i pray for families).I was in tears listening to your story.Nhlanhla you are the head in your Family, love your wife as Christ love the church..Morne submit but not be inferior.
You spoke of your leaders not approving your relationship and you had to choose Ministry or her, that leader need deliverence.
Stay away from families that create tensions around you.(its a suggestion)
For your children sake. You have better things to worry about with your wife, than backwards people who need to repent and be delivered ,
I am praying for God's wisdom over your life,i will make it a mission to pray for you every Thursday.
Remember coulor is just a shares, but we created in His Image,
Love you guys.Christ Favored woman
See how God works. There's nothing impossible for God to do. He always works in a very miraculous way. All you need to do is to allow him to come into your life and he will do wanders. You guys are a great example for the world to see.

She's such a strong amazing woman , he has picked a winner there .
He didn't pick her, Someone above sent her to him
She picked him, a gentleman, so kind and wise. Amazing people. Like hearts come together.
Your love is just beautiful to see. This lady is so beautiful yet so humble. How were raised to think of whites honestly is not encouraging but thank you guys for sacrificially sharing your love life to bring about positivity. With your story my mind has been transformed. God bless you.
Greetings to you and your lovely family. I love the way you address your life of partnership. The divine connections. Overcoming the racial hurdles. Working through the economic process. Even while being yourselves. Although I am an older person, I would like to interact with you for various reasons to which it is prudent for me not to divulge at this time. .
I want to visit Africa soon and who knows we could have dinner or breakfast or lunch for all I care. God bless you and enriched your lives together. Please stay in touch.
I'm learning so much from you guys. Thank you for sharing your story ❤.
It’s okay the universe has way to teach others.
thank you so much for the honesty
I'm Colombian and I'm talking to a Russian woman. Good luck with your relationship
Wonderful story. Love is blind. Bless you both.

What a beauty woman of God that you married what gave you.God bless you. He is humble man that he loves God . Let God bless you more.
I am so happy for you guys because I can see that you love each other which is very important in marriage. Marriage is not easy regardless of whether it is a multiracial marriage or not never allow a third party in your marriage, if you do the marriage won't survive. May the grace of God be upon you and your children.
I am very glad to hear that they finally accepted you.Thankyou Lord for binding the family together.❤
Do the best for each other and your children as you doing.God bless your family.
I think this was very "healing" for this couple. That was a mountain load. I am married to an German gent, and as a "coloured" person I never felt inferior -probably cause he comes from a total different background. As a SA born I totally can identify with this amazing couple. Stay blessed and hey you are a amazing family.
Thanks guys, I enjoyed your conversation

Love you guys think about moving to Canada . As a black man who has dated out of my race i can tell you you will not get half the pain you are getting there. God bless
