its so simple but it looks so clean. A little redundant for someone who knows what they are doing but obviously this is made for beginners. I bet my 75 year old grandma could do this if she watched this video and she cant use computers very well at all. good video!
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Coen Kaden thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
But when I tried to do this with other words, I faced some problems! Like I tried to do it with the word "HACKED". And when I was doing the shape building thing (Holding Shift+Select & drag on the objects) the spaces in the middle of the letters "A" and "D" were getting filled with pink like the strokes somehow! How to fix this?
Great tutorial. I have a question, let's say you want to make this into a teeshirt but instead you want to make the font color see-through so that the color of the shirt will be the font color, how would you do that?
I'm having trouble.. I'm using a different word for mine and it has a capital D in it so when I shift select to go through the selection it merges the negative space from the D too. how do I fix this?
And I just found a solution: Take the line segment tool, at 0.25 pt, drag lines to where you want the shapes to be cut and change the color to black to make the lines visible. Then go to pathfinder, select everything and tap on "divide". Then select everything again and tap on "ungroup". Now, last step is to select all of the shapes like he did in the vid, but right click and tap on "group". Now you can move them all and create a glitch effect.
Short, to the point and easy to follow along tutorial. Two thumbs up. Great work.
THANK YOU FOR THE SHORTCUT KEYS. Every other tutorial expects me to know everything lol
Finally a video here!
Keep up the great work.
THIS IS THE MOST COMPLICATED VIDEO I WATCHED MY ENTIRE LIFE

@@William-McCueRC Shift click everything you need instead of making the rectangle...
Amazing tutorial love from pakistan
Thank you for that tutorial ! Wondering what the compound path are for... ? Doesn't it work the same without them ?
Compound paths unifies the individual pieces together so that they function as a single path instead of multiple.
Why not just group them instead of making them into a compound path? I'm sure there is a reason but I don't what it is.
My text won't split into individual shapes. How do I do this?
I got the same problem!

Oh and a last note: You will have to delete the lines you did with the line segment tool in the end too, with alt and the line segment tool.
Dope
bro mine does not slit like urs
