I just want to give an update to you that have showed and said encouraging words to me. I’ve been pray to alcoholism. No one knew about it. Not even my wife. God spoke to me one night and told me “He is still in control” and that the “world is fine” (I was dealing with depression about the news and the media). I had never experienced hearing Gods voice before. This was about 2 months ago. As a result I ended up telling me wife everything that was going on in my life, the lies, the secrets, the disappointment and shame. I expected her to be angry or upset or kick me out of the house. It is what I deserve. But when she spoke to me I didn’t hear her voice. I heard the voice of Jesus. She said “I agree that you should quit drinking and I am here with you to help you do that”. She wasn’t angry and it confused me until I remembered Jesus. I haven’t had a drop of alcohol since then and have started my own Bible Talk RUclips channel (Bible Talk With BW). I recently got a call from a Pastor at the church I went to when I was 19 and he told me he is launching a church and my name came into his head to lead that launch. I have my degree in Youth and Family Ministry but I never thought I would use it. I ask for continued prayer that God will lead me in the direction that I am supposed to go. I will end with this I walk at a distance from the Lord for a long time. But now that I am drawing near to Him I never want to leave His side again. Thank you so much brothers and sisters in Christ.
