I am the actual person in this video clip. Reading through some of the comments leaves me wondering how are we as one person to another in this day & age? What they don't depict in this segment is the whole story. No there is no need to justify how many children anyone has. Life has its curveballs that you never see coming & at some point things were ok. There is alot more to it then what is shown here. My parents were my support team and that does not necessarily mean financially. My Mom was not around for the better part of my life and I was raised by my grandmother . She had nothing at all to give finacially and for the better part of my life I took care of both my parents. Support can mean many different things. Emotional, mental, just having people there is support. There are many other things that were omitted from the segment. Like when I gave a background, my children spoke as well as my friend which were all edited out. & of course I'm grateful and truly blessed that any of this came to be. What they don't show is afterwards myslef and my children hugging the hosts and producers and thanking each and every one of them. You would have to be a pretty crude person not to do so. & no I don't live in a $600,000 home. If I did I'd be giving back to people who honestly need the help. We all have a story and we all fall short at times and go through our trials & tribulations. But instead of judging & ridiculing someone from a segment on a TV show that does not even go into the story is quite sad. As human beings we should all be happy for one another to see something good happen. Whether myself or anyone for that matter has 4 or 40 children noone knows what a person's situation was like when they made a choice to bring thier children into the world. Someone had mentioned a racial comment which took me aback. If I was blue , purple , white or black we are all human. That in itslef should be enough. To justify myslef is just silly. I hope that one day everyone can get past the petty things in life and realize that noone knows fully what goes on with another until you walk a mile in thier shoes. Everyone has thier troubles but if more people were willing to stand up for another the world would be a better place. I'm truly grateful that this came to be as it was a complete shock and I take nothing in life for granted . You never know when the day will come it will be your last. :)

I'm glad you shared your story. You have to understand how television works tho. It is a short segment that they have to fit everything into 5 minutes. I could tell you were grateful although I wish they'd have shown you and your girls hugging the hosts! May God continue to watch over and provide for you and your girls.

Thank you. It was more some people say some really hurtful and crazy things. I mean from my kids aren't cute... who would bring up young children and speak of them that way.. that is just absurd to me... my Mom always said God don't like ugly.. and that's not on the outside. .. my coworkers who are more like family made a go fund me page Mother of 4 in need of help Little falls NJ. Noone told me and then a producer contacted them. still up to right before we went out I thought we were honestly playing a game throwing pencils for school supplies! I wish they would've shown more of what was said and taped as well. Maybe then it would've given more insight into the past year. And when we hugged and the thank you's were said . I do appreciate your kind words. My children are beautiful as all are. and my youngest is 4 years old and was making funny faces at all the cameras that were in front of her at the time. she speaks just fine and is not slow. How anybody whether they have thier own opinions or not can speak of children in such a derogatory way is appalling. This was truly a blessing especially finding out that now I maybe very sick as well. I've learned people will always say what they want but it's what you know to be true is all that matters. thank you again.

It's hard being a single mom, my sister worked so hard for her kids after their dad left and just came and took her kids one day. Y'all negative Sally's need to realize there's more to someone's story, the strongest people don't always show their pain.

Im sorry she's a grown woman, at that age you SHOULDN'T depend on your parents for financial help. Plus she has 4 young girls, maybe she should have used birth control and not had so many fricking kids. If she was black you all in the comments will be having a field day and calling her everything in the book.
Don't judge other people based on what you see. There is a lot happening behind the scenes, we don't know her life or struggle.

Um, no because not all of us get butt hurt over someone's skin color and can just look at someone's situation and have compassion. She is a single mom with four kids! What parent wouldn't help their child?
You sound very ignorant and heartless. People are not perfect. You don't know this woman's full story. She is raising four girls on her own. Evidently she must not get enough support from their father. Who are you to judge her? It wasn't like she was putting all of the financial responsibility on her parents. She still has a job that obviously doesn't pay enough so yeah she needs help! Her parents loved her and her babies enough to help her. How do you think she felt having to go too her parents for help. But they loved her and knew she was trying her best. Her co-workers even knows she is trying so hard and that's why they helped her. This isn't a race issue. You want to be though. Just look at the fact that she is a single mother trying to raise her children.

I'm Lisa the Mom who was on the show. That is very nice and thoughtful of you to say. a page is actually how all of this started and I was completely unaware. There is a go fund me page under Mother of 4 in need of help little falls NJ by Stephanie ortiz. I told my coworkers/ friends to take it down so it will not be up long. Just the fact you even would offer is very kind without even doing so. I am blessed for having the people I do in my life and I'm thankful beyond words for what was done for me.
