    The passion behind his voice got me so hyped. It's going to be an insane game for sure! Not only the chance to be the first team to play Home in a Super Bowl, but potentially the first QB to ever win an AFC and NFC Championship. It blows my mind.

      Someone pointed out earlier that Craig Morton led both the Cowboys and Broncos to AFC/NFC Championships already in 1970 and 1977 respectively so Tom would be the second. Should he win the Superbowls, he would be the first to win in both.

      AWTAS, Brady has been in the NFL for 21 years but you have to subtract 2 years that he didn’t play. He has only played in 19 seasons. For example, I wouldn’t count the first years that Aaron was in the league because he was backing up Favre.
      Look at it another way, the closest player to this record has been in 7.

      Actually that’s Kurt Warner. Brady is he second. Brady went to Michigan, Kurt went to Northern Iowa. Brady was at least drafted, while after being released from the Packers practice squad Warner was bagged groceries before playing in a football league you’ve never heard of.

    What Tom Brady is achieving and has achieved - won't be duplicated. It's just a pleasure to watch him at 43. AFC? Been there done that. Now's it's NFC's turn. It's just fun watching someone you know is the greatest continue what they do best. In twenty years when they talk about Tom; I know I'll think that I was around to watch him and be greatful.

      Brady have been giving your team nightmares for many years. He always destroy that team in the playoff. Just like every other team in the league, they just want him to retire. He didn't but he did the next best thing for your team which is to move to another Conference. Now the current conference he is in is going to feel the same way as you did for at least 2 more years. lol

    Think about how old Brees, Big Ben and Rivers looked this season. How old Eli looked last year, how old Peyton looked in his final season at 39.
    Tom is 43, looking like he might play 5 more years if he wanted to (and none of those guys play deep into January every year like Tom).
    That's crazy. That´s the GOAT and its not close.

    Yup, he's old but his mind is sharp, vivacious and young as ever hence his ability to be a cut above the rest. Definitely have to give him props for still playing at a phenomenal level at his age, which is not a walk in the park by any means but his desire to win and due diligence to his craft makes him truly elite for sure.

    Tom Brady is the clearest evidence we could ever need that NFL scouting is nothing more than a guess and more often than not a bad one. The best quarterback the game has ever known and not a single scout saw it. And then there is Ryan Leaf.

    I remember in 2001 when Bledsoe recovered from his injury and Belichick made the announcement he was sticking with Brady, everybody said “who the f is Tom Brady?” Now we know and what a monster he became.

    I wouldn’t be very confident if I were GB. The Bucs killed them earlier in the season and it’s not as if Brady hasn’t played in cold and winter conditions. I agree the playoffs are a different animal but I would certainly be nervous if I were a Packers fan.

      Agreed. Packers should be favored as they are the 1 seed and has home field, but going thru Brady, even at 43, is not ideal if you ultimately want the SuperBowl.

      Packers are a better team than they were when they lost to Tampa earlier, they have steadily improved throughout the season. if the packers do not have a 14 point lead at least with 5 minutes to go and possession of the ball, I admit I will be a bit nervous. Lol's I have always wanted Brady and the Patriots to continue going back to the Super Bowl every season that they were in the AFC Championship game, because I love Belichick and Brady is so clutch in the 2nd half of big games.

    Doesn’t seem like Brady is close to retiring, super bowl win or not. He’s as locked in as ever coming off arguably his best statistical season since 2007. Continuing to do things that never have been done while outlasting other greats like manning, brees, roethlisberger and rivers. I hope this next game is the start of another rivalry against Rodgers

    Brady Won his first Super Bowl the Year of the 9/11 terrorist Attack.
    This Covid Pandemic is probably the most tragic event in the U.S. since then.
    If he can win the SB it will Cement him in the memories when ever history remembers the year of the Pandemic, and of 9/11. Brady is persevering to victory. What a potential story and legacy.

    The only thing Rich got wrong was 2002 when he said they didn't have a winning record. If I remember correctly, that was the year after their first Superbowl and they missed the playoffs with a 10-6 record. Then, of course, they won the next two, and dominated the league for the next 18 years.

      In 2002, New England didn't made the playoffs (9-7). Same thing in 2008 (11-5), without Brady (injured). The last time the Patriots had a losing record, before 2020, was 2000 (5-11), Brady's rookie year (he played only a few snaps duting the season). It was also Belichick's first season in Foxborough.
