    Here's my feeedback.
07:30 Wow! What a shot. Reminds me of a similar kick shot John Schmidt made during a tournament.
09:28 How about 14-12-2-3-11? Nearly all stop shots.
14:37 I think you should leave the 14, that makes it easier to come back down-table from the 4-12. Plus then you can use the 14 to get perfect on the 4 (your K2 ball) to get perfect on the 13 in the side (your key ball).
16:47 Geez, your alignment is perfect!
18:01 The 9-14 is the only problem on the table. Instead of shooting the 1 now, how about the 13 in the upper corner? Then you have the proper angle to shoot the 1 and gently nudge the 9-14 open, with the 12 and 5 as insurance balls. Also, this saves the 3 and 8 to use as break ball for the next rack.
19:16 How about shooting the 4, then 2, then 8 in the side? Much more natural, almost a stop shot pattern, get back down-table with less effort.
22:38 11 in side is your best break shot. I would shoot the 12 in the side playing position for both the 13 and 14. Then you should be able to get angle for the 11 in the side and go 2 rails behind the rack.
There is rarely just one correct answer to any Straight Pool puzzle. Keep your eyes open and your brain's record button pressed - 100 will be coming soon!

22:38 totally agree, 12 side was the best shot.

Congratulations Chris! Super happy for you buddy!
As a MASSIVE FINAL FANTASY FAN growing up, I'm sure you can imagine how awesome it felt for me to hear the Victory Fanfare clip when you pocketed the 50th ball!
    😂 😁 😀 😆 😅
Keep up the good work pal! You're hitting them great!

Nice job and the sound is great. I am going to officially declare you a professional Straight Pool player now! You are way past the corner from indecision and hope, to puzzle-solving and execution. That's what it takes. Now its just a matter of refining your decisions and patterns, a never-ending task.

The new mic is just as you said. Great for table sounds, too much echo for voices. Nice run with well played rack openers and rack combos and good pattern play!!

  • @bjarkenielsen8515
    @bjarkenielsen8515 2 года назад +1

Regarding sound quality, I would invite you to try out three or four things:
    1) Buy a small two-channel audio interface with combo-jack (both jack AND XLR) or a small usb audio mixer (with phantom power for your condenser mic). Then connect both your headset for speach and the condenser mic for ambience. You can mix/adjust volume of the two channels as needed.
    2) If you still experience to much echo, you'll have to resort to acoustic panels on the walls. However, I think the headset mic will overshadow any echo, when the volume is mixed-in right.
    3) Consider putting some foam/carpet in you ball return box, - on both bottom and sides. That will significantly dampen the sound of balls hitting the wodden box at the end of you ball return system. It works wonders at our table. You could also try moving your condenser/ambience mic to the other end of the table instead. This way the ball-return-sounds won't be picked up nearly as much by the ambience mic.
    4) Maybe leave out the added music. It's kind of repetitive and we are here for the pool.... Just a thought ;-)

ok so if you get the sound reducer foam squares and hang them around your pool room it will reduce the echo and the sound will carry better. Thats something that will help that as well. Using a pop filter for the mic as well can help reduce that echo.

I personally don't care about the table sounds other than judging how hard you hit. I have gotten the most out of watching when I hear your analysis of the table and your planning. That might be hard to do consistently, especially when things are going badly, but I think there's stuff to learn even if the plan is changing like the wind. BTW, I don't have a Fargo rating but I'm an APA 6/7 here in the Austin TX area.
And congrats on the new high score!

I just ran my first 100 last week Friday after trying for the past 10 years. It's weird because I haven't ran a single 50 ball Run in two year but I've ran over 50 on numerous occasions.

Great shooting bud! Getting there for sure!
I’ll say if you want a “quality sound”, mics should always be close to their subject. Otherwise you pick up more room tone and reverb. A square room with loud pool sounds bouncing off the walls without any sound panels isn’t going to sound great without a multi-microphone setup. But that’s me if I’m picky.
See how it sounds above the table first. ;)

Congrats to you, Chris. I have a question, during CTE aiming, how do you measure the degree of the cut with only your eye sight. Therefore know which point to hit (A, B, or C) and whether to use out or in piv. I want to practice the system, to have more in my arsenal. Hope you can help.

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  2 года назад

There a few known references everyone can learn:
      - Straight in is a 0 degree hit.
      - Perpendicular to straight in is a 90 degree hit
      - Half way in between is a 45 degree hit
3/4 ball hit is about 15 degrees
1/2 ball hit is about 30 degrees
1/4 ball is is about 45 degrees
All of these known references should allow you to be able to estimate the angles in between.

@@LilChrisPoolPlayer but how do you know it is a 15/30/45 degrees just by eye sight? That the main problem for me. Any further suggestion on that? Thanks for reply my cmt.

      In my RUclips videos, I shoot with a Predator SP2 Tuxedo 1 ( www.seyberts.com/predator-retired-cues/revo-sp2-tuxedo-1-limited-predator-cue-black-uni-loc-joint ). When I go to leagues and tournaments I use my Predator Blak4-5 ( www.predatorcues.com/int/predator-blak4-5-pool-cue.html ).
Both of these have the 12.9 Revo shaft.
