A classy waltz. Its wonderful to have these tracks once again. I missed these great waltzes for a long time. Lucky to have it again after a long absence. Thank so much for the posting. We love you.
Waltzes make everything seem so elegant and classy. Like right now I’m in my pj’s shorts and a ratty tank top that has holes in it and I’m cleaning our dirty dishes and kitchen and I feel like the most elegant and refined lady ever….😂👌🏻❤️
Excellent. My ancestors lived in the Crown province of Transylvania, having moved there from Bavaria in about 1850. By the genetic wheel of fortune, I am their successors. So, four generations later, I have in my blood this wonderful music. I gravitated to it in my youth and it remains. I cannot anlalyze it. Its there. Best, Mark
wow all this hate is not worthy to be posted on the same page as this magnificent composition! music this beautiful was made to be enjoyed by ANYONE who can appreciate it and let's it touch their soul. It goes far beyond the ignorance of hate in this world!!! =)
Splendid Music such as this makes you wonder how the world has stooped so low in this day and age. The World had so much more beauty in the Victorian Era.
@spaceghost8995 As if cruelty and injustices of every sort didn't still exist today. Except of course that the victorian world also had beauty, grandeur and magnificence, our present world has only the cruelty and injustice
I have never in 64 years of life danced a waltz. I would wish that experience on every woman out there. I once saw Shirley Temple dance the waltz with Robert Anderson (fr. Father Knows Best and Marcus Welby, M.D.) It was so exquisite and graceful. I wish I could recall the name of the movie.
Type in Wiener Blut in a search engine & will guide you to Wikipedia & translate - 'Viennese Blood' or 'Viennese Spirit'. The blood is where the spirit lies, try going w/o it. I know no Austrians personally but suppose this spirited orchestration is demonstrative of their vivaciousness. Was dedicated to a wedding & Strauss's début with the world-renowned Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. All I know it raises hairs on the back of my neck & lift ones apparitions :)
Never thought of it quite that way. My sister competes and does the viennese waltz and the American Waltz which allows women to be turned and spun round and round. She told me that would never have been allowed and would have been allowed and scandalous if they danced like we do now or wore the outfits women wear now. I've never understood what was the big deal about "ankles" showing either.
i love this song makes me waltz i am looking for a partner just love this i dont have words to describe i first listened to this at midnight it was a great feeling i cant express
Quite the romantic. I think all that could still be done today without chamber pots, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, bacterial infections without penicillin, outhouses, and other unniceties. Right? The good ol' days weren't always so good. All that aside, I agree with you.
I don't know why the big deal about ankles either, but the waltz was more about who you were clinging to, as much as the clinging! The way some of the kids dance today would have gotten them in stocks back then if not hung. I love the waltz and your sister is so lucky (talented!!). The way people dress today! I work in a school where the boys have to be told to pull up their pants and girls are sent home for off the shoulder (boob hanging out). Of course, my generation had mini-skirts-short!
***** Sturgeon's Law. 90% of everything is crap. In 100 years no one will listen to Miley, Bieber, or Nickelback. Just as we don't listen to most 19th century Waltzes. Because most of them were at best formulaic.
Strauss just moves so effortlessly from one melodic theme to the next. It's like poetry.
All Strauss is music of the soul. It uplifts and makes us joyous and even when we shed tears these are not in sorrowful
I know it's kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to stream new movies online ?
@Jagger Carson flixportal
@Rayan Heath thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I really appreciate it!!
@Jagger Carson No problem =)
Perfect choice of words… uplifts, joyous and yes, tugs at our heart strings as well with it’s uniquely sad undertones
Simply beautiful ❤
Wow! To have been back in that era dancing this, sipping champagne and strolling outside under the moonlight in the gardens.
A classy waltz. Its wonderful to have these tracks once again. I missed these great waltzes for a long time. Lucky to have it again after a long absence. Thank so much for the posting. We love you.

Rising and dipping with the rhythm as you walk the dishes to the sink, laying them in one per measure...ah, the classics!
@@ztoob8898 Exactly 😂
Beautiful ... just beautiful!! Over 100 years old and still so very very lovely.
ABSOLUTELY!!

Strauss' music makes me want to put on white tie, grab a Countess, and start dancing.
Do you know where you can get a Countess? Asking for a friend.
😂💙👍🏼
My god, this music is beautiful.
The beautifullst and best song from Strauss!
This is too beautiful to put into words!
that piece should describe what it's like to live in vienna
The WickedNorth certainly have a very good taste for music. Congratulations
Love the ambience and the Viennese waltz by Strauss chosen, by you both,to accompany this video. 🥰
Strauss tinha talento não só para compor mas também para nomear suas composições.
Para mim, uma das mais belas de Strauss. Dá vontade de viver.
Why can't music like this be written anymore?
***** agreed

***** there's nothing wrong with electronic music.... nonetheless, a revival of this type of music would be wonderful.
Tony C It is it just goes unheard.
+Tony C it is actually. Ive met many composers who write very traditional music. Its just not popular with the public.
As we move into the 21st century, the elegance of 19th century Vienna presents itself.
This is just sooooooooo beautiful!!! I have the exact same CD and I listen to it all the time!!!

It’s that one movie with sound and pictures and what not
This is beautiful,loving masterpiece
GREAT !!!!!! Thanks for sharing .
Essa música é linda demais. Eu vivi essa melodia. Ela faz parte da minha vida!
De que forma você viveu essa melodia?
Strauss è stato un grande, ha dato splendore alla sua Austria, che anch'io ho amato tanto.
Splendid Music such as this makes you wonder how the world has stooped so low in this day and age.
The World had so much more beauty in the Victorian Era.
Stop with that crap. Cruelty and injustices of every sort abounded in those days.
@@spaceghost8995 nosotros nos fijamos en la belleza victoriana y musical de esas épocas. Nadie niega todo lo malo de esos tiempos.

Rilo Kiley --> Racontours --> Here. The related videos seem to know the types of music I like very well.
Stupid "Victorious" ad before the song! Oh well, hearing the first few notes put me back in a good mood :3

Danke Mein Herr! Wunderbar!
Nice waltz, I've got an arrangement for chamber orchestra...but is going to be played as a quintet. It's a pity it ain't going to sound like this!
@withhe What a beautiful comment! I absolutely agree!
The most beautiful song ever writen

Anyone else remember the Carousel playing this in Rollercoaster Tycoon?
Aha! Finally, somebody else who's been recognizing so much while on a classical music binge!
@Antonios7454 Ah, gotcha. I stand corrected; sorry about misunderstanding.
