I'm working on this now... its quite rewarding! So nice to see someone post a video!
It's fantastic!
The Las Vegas outfit Ties is wearing is fun--quite a statement! One does get tired of seeing black or white shirts all the time onstage... I guess it's in keeping with the Pop/satiric slant of the music.
bravo! for a performing artist ;)
I love it! :-D
Fair Enough. Yeah, if the Video is out of sync then that would make sense. Again, LOVE this piece, as well as all of Jacob's other compositions :)
Sax-a-mo-phone :D

Where the coats
one of the oddest pieces i’ve ever heard. catchy though
This must have been recorded in the Bimhuis in Amsterdam. I see the NEMO in the background.

An answer from Ties Mellema Management:
"It is definately Ties Mellema playing. The recording might be out of sync sometimes."
The background music was wierd
I really don't think it's him performing. The recording is the standard one that comes when you order the score, and he breathes in a few places when he's playing, and his fingerings are really strange. Regardless, it's an incredible piece, and amazingly fun to work on. Ter Veldhuis is a brilliant composer.
