- This is a delightful redemption-themed family movie that will appeal to children, teens, horse-lovers and people of all ages. A Faith Based Movie about a Horse, a troubled son, his unforgiving grandfather, his distressed mother, 3 neighbor children, a bully and her father. After his mother unexpectedly dies, 17-year-old Ethan discovers he is the owner of his mother's horse - a horse he never even knew existed. He travels cross country to live with his grandparents and investigate the mystery. His grandmother is supportive but his angry grandfather Otto doesn't seem to want him around. Next door live three children who are taking riding lessons at the same farm where his mother's horse is boarded. Their lives intersect as Ethan deals with his grief over his mother's death and the children deal with a neighborhood bully whose father works at the horse farm. The journey for Ethan, Otto, the three children, the bully and her father all revolve around a gentle and faithful horse called Bear who deeply touches all their lives.

What a phenomenal godly movie INCLUDING the soundtrack. They really hit it out of the park. The best was it wasn't the same old same worn out script. Really well done. Glory be to our king Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.

I can remember riding my first horse. I first started riding behind my behind my father, on this old gray mare we had. I was about 5 years old.
Did u know that a horse's heart is too small to pump its blood through its legs, so God designed four more pumps and the faster the horse runs the faster the blood gets pumped back up its legs to the heart. Yes, you guessed it, each of the horses hooves acts as a specially designed pump. The hooves are like diaphram cups with a sponge core that compresses to squeeze blood back up the leg.

Curious what state this kid/man lived in, because the state I grew up in considered you an adult at 17. My father died when I was 17, and my mother was neglectful and abusive, The state wouldn't help me at 16 because I was too old, they said they considered me an adult when I was 17 and 16 was to close to 17, so I was SOL! I was abandoned, and homeless, starving and dirty. I only had a bag of personal item and the cloths on my back. I've always been confused on what is considered an adult. At 15 you can marry and have kids, knew plenty young adults who did that to escape abusive homes, only to end up in abusive relationships, or you just try to make it on your own which is extremely dangerous for a young 17 year old adult, young woman.

All these movies begin with somebody dies, gets killed, a child left alone, and then the movie starts from there. Its getting kind of boring. Can you change the storyline somewhat? A little bit maybe just change the person dying at the end or something.
