WTF are you talking about? Volvos from this era aged so badly, especially the ones with leather. They already looked bad when they were 8 years old now they look like womit. Its true for S60/V70 and S80 as well.
@@zsoltpapp3363 indeed. i owned a S60 and the leather was in good condition but still needed a lot of care. the leather on these crack really easily, nothing like bmw/mercedes leather

the good old times with luxury car supposed to looks nice, warm and confortable interiors and not over fancy bunch of screens and shinny plastics all over like today...

What a nice car! I love these old Volvos. The 2.4D engine is such a reliable engine. This is the first S80 with the dashboard covered in leather. Never saw that before! How many miles does this one has on the clock?
@@anfahrt You final question is the one that expose YOU as a complete moron, that did not even consider to do a minimum of research such as reading the description of the video you just watched.
What a car, even after almost 20 years, interior as new!
I don't think so. Interior is chic and very beautiful but not modern.

16 is the new 20?
Volvos really are good at making smooth engines. A 17 year old car and it still sounds quite inside and starting up is really smooth.
Mine is dark blue, 2.5T Turborcharged and I love it. Working on fixing up minor, cosmetic issues at the moment, but over all, it's still like new.
Bought my S80 2.4 2 days ago and its just the most beautiful car I have had yet
i have the same car, but with 2.5 T engine with 5 speed manual gearbox. 281.000km on the clock, and still drives like a tank 🤙
s80 1999 is what I drive. Mint condition, everything looks like new, even the engine room. Not especially fun to drive but very sturdy and comfy.
I don't know why but there's something about that steering wheel that just tickles me.. love it!
Same here
I love these Volvos, smooth driving and good looks. This particular engine is very economical and reliable.
Economical compared to what?
Volvos consume fuel like there's no tomorrow - diesel or not.
Interior looks like chickens lived in it for a decade
