    My introduction to Alaskan Salmon was at Clark's Point Bristol Bay 35 years ago. I really miss it! I'm in my 70's now but would love to be there!

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing that. It is a lot of fun. It’s hard to be away from the wife and kids, but it’s a great experience and job and I have the best Captain. Good Guy.

      This Salmon Season has been awesome! I’m still fishing the Naknek district at the moment and we’re at over 176,000 lbs so far! Crazy! Can’t wait to share the entire season with you all when I return and get editing the content I have. It’s been wild. Hope to see you up here at some point!

      Thanks so much! Can’t wait to get back and start editing the content I have from this Salmon Season. We’re fishing the Naknek District at the moment and are at over 176,000 lbs. It’s been absolutely a historical season in the bay. Probably another week on the boat yet.

    Good video. I’m planning on riding along in a boat from Homer to Bristol Bay just for the trip. Years ago a worked at Peterson’s Point for a season. Hats off to you guys: it’s hard work.

      Awesome! I did that trip for the first time last year.! It was INCREDIBLE!! Check out “Moving the boats from the pond to lake Illiamna: A family legacy” on our channel. I’m sure you’ll meet this family on your trip. So excited for you! Are you going to halibut fish along the way?

    The Nush went off last year! How'd ya do this year??

    • @TheSalmonHomestead
      @TheSalmonHomestead  2 года назад +1

      It was great! BUT we felt if we would of hit Egegik we would of had some awesome numbers as well with less boats and better weather cause the Nush had a ton of boats. All in all though numbers were incredible, couldn’t of ask for more. We’ll be sharing some big Nush days content here soon from 2022.

    Keep iodine on the boat for injurys . Keep that cut dry or it will get infected.

  • @scottymckibban2660

    Dude, you need to get some stitches in your finger cause that’s not looking good at all. Better not get infected.
