not going to lie, I learned something new from the end video with blackie in net! I've been putting my hip into the net and found it did take awhile to rvh if needed as well as sometimes being beat by not being 30 degrees out as I never once thought of this ( keep in my mind, self taught tendy of 2 years on my 3rd year journey at the young age of 37 ) videos like this help someone like myself a lot. As always, appreciate the videos and keep them up
Keeker, it is certainly easier to understand skatework, shifting weight, edges etc with behind the net or overhead camera angles rather than the camera pointed at their front. Keep up the good work!
Yep, it's boring AF without the puck, but this is where you burn those fundamentals into your subconscious so they become automatic and consistent They say it takes 10,000 hours to master ANY skill and goal is no exception.
Goalie kids out there, check out the difference between an OHL(very good goalie) and a pro(better goalie) and it comes down to the details. Look at Chase's glove hand when he drives back to the right post. It is totally out of the play and useless in that position. By contrast look at how controlled Nick's glove is in the same movement, open and out and controlled. Control your hands boys and girls, keep them open and out and ready to react. In this situation say a player down below the goal line on the right tries a flip pass to the low slot, you're going to be slot to intercept it. Or if they bank it off you, if it nits Chase's glove that's going to rebound in, where as Nick is likely to cleanly catch it. Details matter.

Then muscle memory on Nick to get Toe Bridge on Post nearly every single time is a big difference between Pro and OHL level. So clean and smooth.
Thx for the compliment 🫱🏾🫲🏽

Great to see the differences between those two on their journey timelines. Hope all is well sloth.
