I feel like the downshifting for engine braking would get annoying, because sometimes it does it when it's not really necessary. I hope there's a way to disable it.
zachary lampman Sure it saves the brakes but it wears out the transmission. All that shifting produces a lot of heat and wears out the friction elements. It's kind of pointless to save brakes if you go sacrifice the transmission, and as you can clearly see in the video sometimes it's not helpful and as I mentioned probably annoying thus why I hope there's a way to disable it. I know exactly why it does it, I just don't think it's justified, that's all.
How come it appeared you turned the key on and off a few times before actually starting it? Just curious nice bus though did you enjoy driving a new C2
oh okay the way it was doing made it appear you was turning key on and off. Thats weird too me in a way never known any C2's in the county I live in in Kentucky to do that.

Is that downshifting or a Jacobs brake?
_This is Engine brake with downshifting_
Madyar.NET Ah, ok. Does the engine brake and downshift apply when you hit the brake or when you let off the accelerator?
i have a c2 in real life and one time it took forever to start it
Do you still have your 09 or is this your new bus?
_No. It's not my bus. I still drive 09, when it not in repair :(_
