    Very well explained, thank you. Explaining the theory not just showing how it was made means you can use that for bubbles rising in water, fire, beach foam.. etc.

    This is great but my tiling textures stop tiling if i change the scale of the texture - is there a way to fix this?

    • @geodraws
      @geodraws  6 дней назад

      @@TheFlyingEpergne does it stop moving? Are you changing the scale in the texture setting or using material nodes?

    Thank you so much for this!!! One quick question, what would cause the effect to flow from the outside inwards rather than the way you have it?

    • @geodraws
      @geodraws  3 месяца назад +1

      Adjust the speed parameters to be negative should do the trick!

      Thank you! That reversed the flow, but the effect is gathering on the outside of the disc instead of the centre… any suggestions how to fix this? (The centre of the disc has no effect at all)

      @@athanjohn9458 Just in case this wasn't answered elsewhere, you can mirror the disk's UV values in Blender. I mirrored the Y value before exporting and that did the trick.

      You can right click and search for "ScalarParameter", or use the shortcut by holding S + left mouse button!

    I strongly dislike your explanation style. You just click somewhere to add a new node but don't explan what it is called.
    For example you said 1:28 just grab a parameter node. Well there is not clear which one or how to get it. Or when you have already added the white constant, i had no idea the constant
    is vector3. I am completely new to it and there aren't any useful tutorials.

      @geodraws  10 месяцев назад +2

      Sorry about that! If you're not familiar with those nodes yet the Unreal Engine Doc has some pretty nice explanations on those, hope this helps

      Thanks but these docs are pretty bad and often outdated. I used chatGPT who said i could just use scaleparameter and leave it empty. This engine is SO frustratingly big and there are just no tutorials for very basic questions. @@geodraws

    where did you find that mask node?

    • @geodraws
      @geodraws  25 дней назад

      It's a component mask node in the material graph
