The old haunter is better. 30 sure damage are better than 60 with coin flip because you can organize a strategy for the next turns if you know exactly your numbers. And this s--t does 50 and has 10 less hp, it's soooo underpowered.
You are mathematically correct. In a vaccum, the expected value of having a 50% chance to get a value of 50 is 25, whereas the value of always hitting for 30 is obviously, 30. That being said out of the vaccum, there are practically infinite probabilities influencing each outcome. In each unique controlled environment, other statistics might influence how relevant these probabilities are in achieving any desired outcome. That is where strategy comes into play in a game like this.
@seanjohnston565 yes, for me 30 sure damage is better than 60 with the coin because i can build a strategy based on the damage(for example using a Giovanni without wasting it). And because i'm sure to knokout a low hp enemy with it, so vs a full hp enemy it's basically the same, but vs one with 30hp or less the sure hit is always better. So, in my opinion, the only way to let the promo one be at the level of the normal one was to give him a 70damage attack to let the risk worth and the same life of the other one. Even with 80hp and 60 damage it is bad compared to the other one.
@@seanjohnston565 it’s a 1/2 chance to hit for 50 while the original card is giving you a 100% chance at damage. In card games you wanna try and remove as much RNG as possible from your deck in order for it to be as viable as possible
“Yes, there are a lot of coin flips in this deck, just like all the other decks”. No. Stay away from decks that require coin flips unless it’s misty or moltres.
If ur tryna stay away from coin flips u probably should just not play card games. Even in magic the gathering the automatic coin flip to c who goes first decides games sometimes just like this game it’s just part of it. And the new jigglypuffs upside is better than the old little bit of irrelevant damage she had which u probably won’t b able to use anyway bc u have to evolve that turn to stay alive and haunters new attacks upside is worth the flip imo but I guess ppl just play mewtwo and pikachu or starmie cause they want to win as easily as possible. Ppl that use those decks outside of a tournament either have low iq or they r scared to lose but we dont think those ppl r good just cause they beat us with those lame decks. People that aren’t scared to lose a game will have more fun and get more out of the game using different cards. I beat a pikachu player and a mewtwo player with a dubwool one time. That feels way better than the other way around it’s like winning a basketball game with a player short. If the team with 4 players win that’s impressive but if the team with 5 players win nobody cares bc they should have won
Nah man I wouldn’t use that new haunter the old one is way better. The new one is sacrificing HP and its lack of consistency in attacking for a slight buff in damage.
It’s not really good if anyone is reading this Gengar’s passive would be helpful against Grass/Water decks… if only gengar could do actual damage to any of them or have Gengar Turn 1 also avoiding getting one shot while having 70 hp second form
No as it doesnt have the supporter tag in the top left like oak and Giovanni its why you can only play 1 oak but multiple pokeballs since they aren't supporter
if u see this can u help me out should i complete char or mewtwo deck i got 1 of the whole garde line and 1 mewtwo or should i complete the charizard deck one charizard one moltres
Broooo could you make a video on tips to beating the new challenge on expert mode? I already beat it once but I’m having trouble completing the missions on it and my OCD won’t let me move on 🫠

Thank goodness, we've been needing videos like this 😂
I just built this deck. I can't believe I've only been playing for 3 days and have already been able to build 3 or your OP decks!!!

A lot of game revolves around being lucky, 70 dmg in two turns is no joke
It’s only 50 damage IF it lands heads… yeah that new card is trash

If you stay away from coin flips then you are stuck playing a handful of decks.
@ it’s a lot easier to take an L due to a skill issue or bad starting hand rather than 4 tails with zapdos or 3 tails with moltres 2 turns in a row

DRAGORAN DECK PLSSS!!🔥🔥
Jigglypuff promo even Improve Mewtwo EX def stall😅
" you can't flip head 3 times in a row" and than he gets like 5 in a row I swear if I came across you and you flipped this many heads I'd be so pissed
How are you all playing this event? It’s not on my game
You need to update your game and go into solo battles. It’ll be at the top there.
I wish dream water was a thing.
Need jigglypuff promo, haven't pulled it on promo cards.
Do the event tickets carry over for the next event if you don’t use them for venusaur event?
yes
Does heal potion card not count as a supporter card? Because my opponent was able to use it even when my Gengar Ex was on active spot
No as it doesnt have the supporter tag in the top left like oak and Giovanni its why you can only play 1 oak but multiple pokeballs since they aren't supporter
Can you try gengar and Mewtwo and gardevoir together?
I just played against this. It may look useless on paper but gengar passive is annoying af
if u see this can u help me out should i complete char or mewtwo deck i got 1 of the whole garde line and 1 mewtwo or should i complete the charizard deck one charizard one moltres
You need two gard two mewtwo
Im bad at coin flip, hate it
Maybe I am dumb but where do you get the new haunter
New Venusaur event , similar to the Lapras event
Battle the new venasuar quest in solo mode. Then open the packs
Great? No.
Marginally more interesting? Yes.
Oh thank for deck list
do you need to buy gold bar to get good cards?
You have to play in the new venesaur event
goldzlyy can you help me build a pikachu deck thats not electrode i only have 2 pikachu and one zapdos pls
Just throw in another electric line. You just need enough for pikachu ex to attack for 90.
@@GODZLYY Thanks im subbing
Deff just add raichi
I always thrash those Dragonite players They always brick a lot. I enjoy it they are free win decks 😂
No, it doesn't! It's worse than regular haunter.
