- The perfect album closer, 'Thick Skull' is another favorite (I hate saying favorite because the whole album is pretty much my favorite). The build up is so beautiful in this song, with the ending, Hayley's soaring vocals, T's driving guitar and Zac's drums just really round up the album in the most stunning way. I hope you guys like this arrangement!

Btw, not sure how to feel about their lyrics again. Hopefully I'll understand these fully, sooner rather than later, and discover they're not as gloomy as they seem to me atm... Nvm my own username, I'm always realistic but since the time I (mostly sarcastically) picked this I have clearly understood I'm not the guilty and useless one, on the contrary, and I keep saying now, that everyone who's been cornered and blamed and mocked, for simply having a heart and mind and trying to put these to good use by being fair&objective and offering such perspectives to help this world come to its senses, should quit accepting that blame and continuous disrespect and treat the cannibalistic zombies the way they deserve instead of being kind to anyone but themselves in the end, and attract even more exploiters than the already enough who come into ppl's lives uninvited and ready to mess with their psychology for fun and profit; for a start, I swear, trolls and fanatical ppl who like to point fingers and condemn and generally shift the attention to whoever&whatever they like (usually through whataboutism or vague statements that could be told by anyone about anyone, from what I've seen at least) do not enjoy being exposed with real logic and several paragraphs in conjunction with the sarcasm they supposedly like (only when directed and utilized on others, obviously).
And since i started "analyzing" this again and i sound pessimistic and perhaps cynical in a sense, let me add something: I by no means say that cynicism and mistrust is the way to go, that's the opposite direction (that is, if you do want to keep something alive in you and refuse to be part of the vicious cycles and self-inflicted prophecies, and the problem in the big picture) ofc... I am only saying being aware and vigilant and ready to put some (judgemental and elitist) fool (family/relatives included) in their place is better than staying fully depressed/crippled for decade upon decade, and on top of that be mocked for it and everything else one wants to see in you and take advantage of, in the form of an excuse in reality but usually disguised as an insult or interest/advice based on nitpicking something that may or may not be wrong, just to feel better or stronger than someone. Ironically, the ones who are obsessed with confidence plus "winner" mentality and "success" and manliness etc, whatever is trendily believed and accepted as supposedly healthy and basically as an advantage/strength, are usually the most insecure and immature, and lost/confused ppl.
I could write about these for hours, excuse my rambling xD it's hard to do justice to the whole story regarding the roots of ...certain behaviors and mentalities, and some sort of evils in the end, but hopefully I've presented the basics simply enough and not in a *truly* boring or awkward (or entirely out of place) way. Not that it matters to many but yeah, being kinda open doesn't hurt much, and, well, whoever is in a position that makes them able to undestand something (hopefully, many don't even need to read anything to understand any ofvthe basics in life, be it written by me or by someone who knows exactly what they're saying word by word due to doing that professionally). If the crazy and paranoid are free to recycle false stuff, tho, then I can try to recycle/spam "something" too, weird and/or logical or not :D
