Semolina Halva Recipe
Water glass size: 200 ml
Tea glass size: 100 ml
For the sherbet:
1.5 water glass water
1.5 water glass milk
1.5 water glass sugar
1 tablespoon molasses (optional)
For halva:
125 grams butter
1 water glass semolina
1 tea glass flour
Preparation:
First, prepare the sherbet. Add milk, water, sugar and
molasses into a pot and cook over medium heat until it boils.
Then set it aside, close the lid and let it sit.
Tip 1: Sherbet and dessert will be hot!
Melt the butter in a large non-stick pan.
Then, add semolina and flour and fry over medium heat, stirring well (10-15 minutes).
This time may vary depending on the temperature of the stove.
Tip 2: Be sure to stir while frying.
Otherwise, some parts may darken easily.
Continue frying until it turns brownish.
When you reach the desired consistency, add the sherbet and mix quickly.
Tip 3: When you combine the sherbet and dessert, it is extremely important to be quick to avoid lumps.
When you mix it for a few minutes, it will thicken immediately.
