I was in the same shallow area Friday trying to stay out of the wind. Caught several good fish before going up the river to try some new water to me. Caught quite a few in the river as well. Love Lake St. clair and always enjoy your content. I can't wait to fish it with my son! Ive been using the Great Lakes finesse tubes out there with success and used the helgramite up north on a drop shot earlier this year. I will definitely be looking into more of their products.
