There is some hate towards some Chinese members because recently some of them have refused to bow in the traditional Korean way. That really angered the public especially after the incidents between Korean and Chinese athletes at the Olympics. There's also the feeling that Chinese music companies have been sending trainees to Korea just to learn their training methods, while Kpop groups were banned from performing in China since 2016. Handong has nothing to do with any of this since she has wanted to be a Kpop Idol most of her life. When she came to Korea to go to college she had to promise her parents not to audition. Not long after arriving in Korea she auditioned, has worked hard on learning the language and customs of Korea, and fits perfectly into the group who love her. She was trapped in China for a year after the outbreak of Covid and couldn't wait to return to Korea. The other members missed her terribly as did all InSomnias. She is just another sister to them.

Careful now. You can and will fall in love with this group and these girls. I started digging into K-pop last August with the intent to go from group to group discography and check everyone out. I had no intention of getting attached to anyone too hard. My music roots are in punk, metal, and old school EDM. I randomly picked Dreamcatcher mid-December and I've had SO much trouble tearing myself away. Their sound, their talent, their personalities, their beliefs, their connection to one another, and their story will suck you in.

Handong went back to china and got stuck there because of Covid. She was gone for a year. Shes back now though.

There’s one mistake in video. DreamCatcher Company (DCC) is not a sub-level of HappyFace Entertainment (HFE). HFE became DCC in 2019.

Love the reaction, but why did the maker of this guide show that clip of Jiu to show her dance skills😩😅 like i guess she's pretty good there, but I truly hate the choreo for that and it truly does not do justice for her skills. There's so much better clips to show how good of an dancer she is, like taki taki cover for example 😅😂
