You pretty much take the technical ability for granted. There are a number of very excellent guitar technicians. Ms. Spangenberger brings unusual insight, vision, understanding and maturity to virtually everything she performs. She may be the most remarkable musician of her generation.

Jesses, was für eine Ausnahmebegabung....die Etüde gehört schon seit meiner KA vor vielen Jahren immer wieder zu meinem Technikprogramm. Aber so werde ich sie mit Sicherheit nie spielen können :-) .... und das ist wahrlich keine Schande, denn das hier ist internationales, technisch höchstes Niveau und das auf der klassischen Gitarre schon in diesem Alter. Einfach toll !

I recognise that piece; I've played it before but not quite....that fast! You play it the way it is supposed to be played. Good recording; the guitar sounds amazing and you make it seem really effortless. Bravo!
A 13y old playing this particular etude at this speed....with so much control... I lack words to express my amazement. So what is next? a embryo playing Mozart in his mother's womb?

What I found irritating is so much emphasis on her age that you even had to put it in the video title. Who cares. She is obviously young virtuoso guitarist and her playing is comparable to top class guitarists of all ages. Asserting that she is 13 for me actually takes something away of her obviously enormous skill and looks kinda cheap and sensationalistic. Other than that, awesome performance, can't wait to see her development as she gets more experience.
amazing for her age!!! But IMHO in this one you need to keep a stable tempo and support it with dynamics throughout the piece. Slower and within the tempo would be a lot better.

Needs to learn that musicality is not only about technical prowess, but more about feeling. This is way too fast, and she is not capable of playing it at this speed! Only 13, so can still mature, musically.
