i adore watching all of your civ v games filthy. i’m a fairly new player and i’ve learned so quickly from watching your guides and games i can already play on immortal and keep up in pubs! thank you for uploading all of these! if you ever plan on coming back and playing a game of this after all this time, please upload it!!
After watching this series it's pretty comical that you never felt as though the placement of the 4th city affected the relations at all with the neighbors. The 3v1 was lame no doubt but I would attack anyone who posted their 4th city 900 miles from their lands, in my backyard and my neighbors backyard. I dunno if you figured social grace stuff like this out in 10 years or not
It usually spawns on plains which means. 2 food, 1 hammer and 1 gold raw tile yields and 3 food, 2 hammers and 1 gold when improved. Makes it a good growth tile and gives you production at the same time. If you also take earth mother pantheon, gives +1 faith as well XD
It spawns on plains near desert more than any other area which is what you usually want in your empire if you have good lands(sometimes grassland is better) because with rivers and a possible Petra makes it ideal for both early and long games. With a Salt Regional you're basically 99% guaranteed nice lands with top production and your choice of surrounding lands because you'll make settlers faster and your land should be easily traversed being desert and plains to get your settlers somewhere quickly. It's just so many different theoretical pluses all rolled into one regional lux.
finding these vids after so many years is a gem
Same. There's a lot I've already watched but it's cool to revisit
Pledges to protect Valetta as he says "I do need to steal a worker off Valetta". Legend.
Old comment, but pledging to protect doesn't lower your ability to tribute, only other peoples.

What where the green lock things he kept clicking in his city in the start of the game
Locks in the tile to produce, so the tile can only be changed by unlocking it.
